We had a lovely stay and would return in a heartbeat.
Pros:

The location was wonderful! A great view of the mountains and village from the balcony (see photo). The room was spacious, clean, and warm, and very quiet despite the hotel's location direct opposite the local train station. Breakfast was very good, too, and the staff extremely friendly and efficient.

Cons:

The mattresses would benefit from replacing - or maybe they were just too soft for our liking? Also, the shower took a long time to heat up during the week, which improved at the weekend when (presumably) there were more guests using the hot water. Neither of these issues was severe.

Quarto espaçoso e confortável.
Staff disponível e simpático. Fornecem passe para transportes na zona durante a estadia se necessário.
Pequeno almoço com diversas e boas variedades.
Localização maravilhosa, perto da estação de comboios. Em frente tem um restaurante e também uma paragem de autocarro. Perto de várias lojas de aluguer de material.

Cons:

Que o hotel esteja a cerca de 1km do inicio das pistas/telecabine de ski de diablerets.

Excellent size room, very comfortable bed, continental breakfast, ski-room for all ski equipment easily accessible, pretty much everything you could want for skiing in Les Diablerets. For anyone going to Glacier 3000, the post bus stops just opposite, so you can walk out of the hotel to the stop and you're off. The hotel is not far from the train station and has (some) parking for guests (I arrived by train). I was satisfied with everything. If you're expecting a 5* experience then you'll need to pay a lot for something with "palace" in the name in Gstaad. If you want a reasonably priced, very comfortable and clean base near Les Diablerets this is perfect.
