Jederzeit wieder, danke.
Pros:

Alles war sehr frisch und die Rühreier waren richtig saftig. Die Betreuung war extrem freundlich, was uns sehr gefallen hat.

für eine Übernachtung auf Durchreise oder kurzen geschäftlichen Aufenthalt okay.
Pros:

Das Parken war etwas schwierig zu finden. Ich war aber auch nicht grad in bester Verfassung beim Erklären. Man hätte deutlich sagen müssen: nach der Einfahrtsschranke sofort links abbiegen bis zur nächsten Schranke die sich automatisch öffnet. dann nochmals links. Vielleicht lag es an mir dass ich im Parkhaus rumgeirrt bin.

Cons:

das Restaurant war abends besetzt durch Rotary. ich wurde freundlich darauf hingewiesen, aber musste nochmals raus und ein Restaurant suchen, was nicht einfach war und nicht möglich im nahen Umkreis. Burger (im Haus) wollte ich nicht, hatte ich mittags schon. Für Hotelgäste müssten ein paar ungestörte oder unstörende Tische / Plätze frei bleiben

Staff is exceptional
Pros:

The staff at this hotel is exceptional! One staff member really stood out- Sheryl- she went above and beyond to help us in so many ways and she was so kind and helpful that I wanted to mention her for her exceptional service. Hotel Mercure is lucky to have her! There was a young gentlemen who was always working the same shift as Sheryl and he was very helpful also. The room itself was comfortable with a nice bathroom and shower. The AC is not adjustable and on warm days the room can feel warm as you are not allowed to set the air to a more comfortable setting. As others have stated if you take the #6 bus you can go where you need to go, so transportation is quite easy. Overall, the town of Cher does not offer much to do, but we had a wonderful day hiking at the nearby gorge that runs by the Rhine.

I really enjoyed my stay.
Pros:

Great location. 5 minute buss ride from train station. Fabulous restaurant in hotel.

Cons:

Wish they had a massage studio.

Pros:

New modern hotel. Big rooms, well equipped. Great view out of big windows. Close to train station . All shops nearby

Great hotel with fantastic mountain view, but a bit far from city center
Pros:

The hotel is nearby a big shopping center and other fast-food stores such as KFC and McDonald, very easy to get some food. The room is quite large with comfortable bed. The view from the room is fantastic and exactly like the example photo showed on the website.

Cons:

The location is a bit distant from the city center. Although it is easy to go by public transportation since there is a bus station in front of the hotel, in fact there are not so many buses running on weekend and holidays, not that convenient.

Clean hotel. Helpful staff
Pros:

Hotel is clean and front staff is very helpful and pleasant. As others said bus 6 picks you up right in front and takes you to the trains and downtown. The bathroom has a large low mirror with only a sheer drape so showering at night was a little creepy knowing anyone could see in, however there is probably nothing close enough to see much. There is not much to do in Chur- I’d recommend one night unless you want to kayak and hike near the gorge then two days is nice.

Pros:

Spacious modern clean room, great views, comfortable beds, good shower. Really helpful staff. Free bus to train station/centre from right outside the hotel. Would recommend this hotel.

Cons:

The restaurant and bar were not very appealing for us, but the free bus into town made it easy to go out. There was immediate access from the shopping center next door to the hotel, without going through the lobby, which was convenient, but I would have preferred that only guests could access the lift to get to bedroom floors. We had no issues but perhaps something for the hotel to consider for security.
