Everything, and particularly the staff and owners who deserve all the accolades they receive
Everything was great
Brilliant staff very friendly and helpful
Few days to early for restaurant service
Great place to visit, especially if your a biker. Staff can't do enough for you.
And as a plus there is secure parking for your bike.
Nothing at all, will be returning
Lovely comfortable homely hotel in a central location, comfortable rooms and lovely hosts. Even offered to give us a lift when we told them we had a tour of the distillery arranged, would highly recommend
The welcome and explanations about the amenities was excellent, warm, family feeling without intruding. The breakfast was very good. Staff all genuinely attentive
Good location, friendly staff, allowed to check in early, good breakfast.
Room was downstairs so very dark - not much natural light as window was partially covered over. Sound proofing very poor - kept awake by very loud TV in next room. Very early breakfast for a weekend. Dog in the dining room at breakfast. Owner asked if was ok but was too embarrassed to say no as all other guests seemed fine.
Great location with free parking and a quirky interesting interior that shows a lot of the towns history which made it very interesting . The staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely people.
Lots of stairs, which for my mother who was not all that mobile was a bit of a problem.
Breakfast - lots of choices. Lounge where could bring in a ‘take away’ dinner
All good
Breakfast is as always Fantastic.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable.
Heater in room and heated towel raill in bathroom were tricky to operate so found it rather cold in the morning.
The room was clean and fresh
The shutter in the room had a gap so maybe curtains would be better. It was room 1
The food is excellent, the staff are exceptional. If the Smiths move on, they will leave a huge hole in many people’s lives and be a very difficult act to follow. I’ve stayed at the Buc many times at it has always been a pleasure. Back again in April on the bike again.
Nothing
Really friendly and helpful staff , fabulous food , very dog friendly, wonderful location
The staff were exceptional, really took the time to make us welcome and look after our needs. Dinner and breakfast were really great, and the place has a real sense of history.
