Communal areas were very smart
Accomodation felt tired
The food was exquisite
The atmosphere had an nice ambience
The location was beautiful, venue kept well, clean, comfortable
So quirky & so much fun. Lovely area, lovely farm shop 5 mins walk away. Hotel was far nicer than what we had pictured. All staff were very friendly & helpful. Looking forward to going back to try the Thai restaurant.
Signposting to the Oak restaurant could be better.
Shower was a wet room, this was a bit of a pain as the whole bathroom was then wet.
The quirkiness
A little overpriced
Okay location, was quiet other than noise from banging doors entering, and loads of footsteps from upstairs.
Very very over priced for what it is. Jacuzzi bath at the end of the bed that we were told wasn’t a jacuzzi bath…it was it just didn’t work and wasn’t replaced, toilet door removed and not put back on. Water stains around the ceiling area.
Definitely needs some work doing do it to bring it back to life again.
Amazing hotel, the decor of the room, restaurant and gardens were stunning. Loved the big red bus reception!
Would have been rated excellent but did feel that at nearly £400 for room only that there should have been a usb point in the room and that there should have been more than one tea bag each, was somewhat shocked that we would have had to pay for extra tea!!
Beautiful, quirky, staff all very lovely
The shower cubicle in the en-suite let the room down a little, was just awkward and I had to open the shower door half way through my shower because the lights went out and it was pith black dark
Absolutely beautiful. We loved our stay this really did make my partners birthday Thankyou so much. Staff are so so so nice too
Loved it all
The b d abs bedding were extremely comfortable and felt luxurious. The place had a great vibe. The gardens were lovely and the decor as unusual as I expected
The bathroom was cold and the shower temperature volatile so it was a bit frustrating, the room wasn’t sound proof so had a bit of noise from the corridor
We loved that it was discreet and out of the way. Love the attention to detail.
The quirkenerss
Bit tired
