A Great Beach Find
Pros:

We wanted an inexpensive beach getaway and were really happy to find Pacific View Inn. Pacific Beach is a little too busy for us but the inn offered a quiet atmosphere. Definitely worth paying for the parking spot in front of the inn. The room was a nice size. Two things we would like would be to have access to ice and fluffier pillows.

Cons:

The room was dirty, there was hair on the bathroom walls and spiders in there. The bed had one very thin blanket and was not comfortable at all.

ROACHES, GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

The location was great. We went from 3 days at the Mission Valley Marriott to one day at the Pacific View on the beach. I just wanted another day for my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, we were met with roaches. We were tired and ready to relax but couldn't. LeiLani said that the only person that could give me a refund is Roxanne. She would call me on Monday be she didn't. I called her today and she said that she could not help me. She wouldn't even guide me to someone who could

It could have been better with no roaches. She told me that she could give me another room, not only was the room a lot smaller but no ocean view as well. I would not stay in a place that has roaches to take back to my family and comfort. Roxanne response was that the guy came out and inspected and didn't find any roaches. I guess I just disrupted mine and my husband's peace of mind and time for the fun of it.

Very small room , no closet , no microwave , barely space to move around , very noisy air unit , bathroom very small and no place to put personal items .very disappointed .

No way to hang up towels and clothing - strange for a beach hotel. Shower curtain hanging straight down makes a narrow area to shower in. Would like to have access to streaming channels.

It was right on the boardwalk next to the beach.

Cons:

The hallways smelled like cat litter and cigarettes for our whole stay. We also payed for late checkout at 2pm, normal checkout was at 11, we were taking a nap and had a cleaning lady buzz her card into our room with no warning while we were still there. We went out for food and came back around 12 and our key card no longer worked due to them not updating the cards so we had to handle that with the front desk.

The room we paid for said “partial ocean view”, however, we were on the first floor and the only partial view happened when we stepped outside a good 10 steps. We couldn’t see the ocean FROM the room, which i expected to see. It wasn’t a fair way to describe the ocean view from the room. There was no ocean view. Be honest about that.
