Poor customer service,no paid parking spot,good luck parking 10 minutes away!!

We will be back! Loved this little place!
Pros:

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!! So perfect! Rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. Beach stuff available to borrow for free was super cool!

Cons:

Having to pay to check in early. If a room is available, why would you not allow your guests to check in?

Great location but tiny dark room.
Pros:

The location was great! It was within walking distance of a multitude of restaurants, bars, convenience stores, dessert places, and public transportation. We could walk to La Jolla or Belmot Park in less than an hour. We were steps from the beach. The Ocean Walk in front of the hotel is the perfect place to see the sunset and to people watch.
The staff is great. There are beach chairs and towels to borrow.
There is a small fridge in the room.

Cons:

The room is tiny. We were constantly walking over each other. There was only one nightstand and lamp. One side of the bed didn't have a place to put anything or a light. The safe did not work. The small bathroom did not have a place to put our things (toothbrush, brush, curling iron, etc.). We were only give one set of towels. There was only one chair and the bed was the only other place to sit. The wifi was spotty. It dropped three times during our 1 1/2 day stay.

Cons:

Brought up I might’ve been charged extra. Paid through booking and they charged me separate full room charges ontop of the full price I paid through booking— reception couldn’t help me said they weren’t sure how charging through third party works.

Fantastic
Pros:

I loved hearing the waves crashing from my room. We were a block from a really good restaurant bar.

Cons:

Parking was a challenge. You have to watch where you park. The no parking street sweeping signs are different on either sides of the street.

A Great Beach Find
Pros:

We wanted an inexpensive beach getaway and were really happy to find Pacific View Inn. Pacific Beach is a little too busy for us but the inn offered a quiet atmosphere. Definitely worth paying for the parking spot in front of the inn. The room was a nice size. Two things we would like would be to have access to ice and fluffier pillows.

Cons:

The room was dirty, there was hair on the bathroom walls and spiders in there. The bed had one very thin blanket and was not comfortable at all.
