A great hotel with a lovely spa
Pros:

What a great hotel! I asked for and received a really quiet room, so I slept brilliantly throughout my 5 day stay!

The hotel reception staff cannot do enough for you, and were matchlessly pleasant and helpful throughout. (They even printed out a long document that I had to read urgently). My particular thanks to Darija who was especially kind with my requests and in offering help. Thank you also to Rytis who carried my heavy suitcase out to the taxi in the bucketing rain, so I didn't get drenched.

I loved the location of this hotel as well: It was immediately across from the cathedral/bell tower and minutes away from the old town, so it could not have been better placed for sightseeing.

The swimming pool was also a complete triumph! I was perfectly able to do length swimming there every day, relax in the spa area and take as many jacuzzis and saunas as I wanted. (The hotel is also generous in supplying extra towels, dressing gowns and slippers, so it is all very comfortable indeed).

On a side note, I would also recommend the nearby Greek taverna, Dionysos, which is a couple of doors to the right of the hotel on the same street, so no walking involved! The food there is lovely and the wait staff very friendly and helpful indeed.

Altogether, I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel! It certainly ticked all of my boxes!

The hidden jewel of Central Europe
Pros:

Not only has grid hotel centrally located to the front street of old town, but the elegance and five star quality extended from this hotel is outstanding. Walking through the front doors every sensibility is greeted with graciousness and hospitality. The general manager, Segita is Hallmark to the experience.
