We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and could not have asked for a better vacation experience.
The location is simply breathtaking, perched on the mountainside with spectacular views that made every moment special. Waking up each morning surrounded by such beautiful scenery was unforgettable.
The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious, and high-quality options. It was the perfect way to start each day.
What truly made our stay exceptional were the hotel owners. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, always happy to help with any request and going above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable and cared for.

Great experience
Pros:

I liked the scenic view from my room a lot, also the balcony and room were very nice. I enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner was amazing! Do not hesitate to book the dinner at the hotel, as it is really worth it and for a good price.

Cons:

The water in the swimming pool was quite cold for my taste. Also, I found quite odd the fact that I had to be fully naked to use the saunas. I found out that this is a common practice in this area, but I don't see why it would be a problem if I want to keep my swimming suit on.

een schitterende vakantie gehad in een heel goed hotel en een prachtige omgeving
Pros:

ontbijt was uitstekend met een grote keuze, fruit was steeds dagvers, niets op aan te merken
avondmaal was een verfijnd 4-gangenmenu ( met vooraf nog een saladebuffet) met verschillende keuzes per gang, was zo berekend dat je niet nooit verzadigd van tafel ging
ook mocht je tussen 14u en 17u mocht je ook nog gratis aanschuiven voor een uitgebreid vieruurtje
wij hadden logies en ontbijt maar de opleg voor het avondmaal was voor gasten van het hotel belachelijk laag en stond helemaal niet in verhouding met wat je er voor kreeg
op de bediening viel niets aan te merken, integendeel zelfs

Voortreffelijk!
Pros:

Het hotel heeft uitzonderlijk vriendelijk personeel, zeer goede service en een uitstekende verzorging van het eten. Het eten is een 5 gangen diner waarbij je 2 of 3 keuzes krijgt iedere dag (4 gangen en een salade buffet). tussen 2 en 5 's middags is er ook een salade buffet met lekkers en broodjes, dit heeft ook onze verwachting overtroffen. Het ontbijt is ook uitstekend, vooral de goede koffie hebben wij enorm van genoten. Daarnaast kon het hotel uitstekend omgaan met mijn gluten allergie (celiac disease / coeliakie), ik heb nergens last van gehad, dank daarvoor!
Daarnaast zijn de sauna faciliteiten ook uitstekend, daar hebben wij vaak gebruikt van gemaakt. Daarnaast is het buiten zwembad eigenlijk nooit druk en is er genoeg plek om op een bedje te liggen in de zon. Je krijgt iedere dag schone handdoeken voor de sauna en het zwembad en ongeveer om de dag / om de 2 dagen schone handdoeken voor in de kamer en schone badjassen, erg fijn!
Qua activiteiten zit je heel erg goed in dit hotel. Je krijgt een guest pass waarbij je bijvoorbeeld gratis kan reizen met het openbaar vervoer en korting krijgt op lokale wijn proeverijen. Daarnaast organiseert het hotel zelf ook regelmatig excursies. Er is ook wekelijks live muziek die boven verwachting was!
Al met al hebben wij enorm genoten van ons verblijf in het Stephanshof, wij kunnen iedereen aanraden om hierheen te gaan!

Als laatste denk ik dat dit een uitstekend hotel is voor stellen of groepen met stellen / vrienden maar ik zou het niet aanraden om hierheen te gaan met kleine kinderen. Het eten start om 19:00 wat voor ons prima is maar ik gok voor jonge gezinnen vrij laat. Daarnaast is het hotel echt ingesteld op volledige ontspanning en verzorging waar rennende en schreeuwende kinderen denk ik niet helemaal lekker op hun plek zitten. Wellicht denken andere mensen hier anders over maar het leek mij goed om te benoemen voor mensen die hier in de toekomst willen boeken.

Cons:

Het enige wat vervelend is dat de kamers geen airco hebben. Bij ons was het twee weken lang boven de 30 graden, dus dan krijg je het 's nachts of heel erg warm omdat de rolluiken naar beneden zitten, of wordt je vrij vroeg wakker door het licht omdat de rolluiken omhoog zijn voor frisse lucht. er zijn geen verduisterende gordijnen. Ik hoop dat het hotel dit in de toekomst wel verbeterd.
