Atlantic Palace Hotel

Nicely positioned in the City with access to major banks, cafeterias and transportation. The hotel is managed by Lebanese it seems, resulting in degraded service quality. At times I see Lebanese guys at the reception desk, sometimes a woman of Lebanese descent or similar…. The hotel is not as glamorous as I thought

Amazing pool. Helpful staff. Large rooms. Nice balcony. There's even a gym. Wifi works well.

Good quiet hotel in a good location but a bit dated. Nice pool, food was above average and the staff where very friendly and helpful. Happy to go back on my next trip.

Hotel rooms are a bit dated but functional and clean. Breakfast is generally good but maybe not worth the 10k CFA charge. Gym is of a good standard.

A plus enjoyed the stay

Hotel is kept clean and tidy. Few if any mosquitos in rooms which is a big plus as no nets. Food is of a reasonable standard although breakfast was not as good as the last time I stayed. Efficient check in and out and sorted my faulty safe very quickly.

Cons
1. Expat staff at reception rude & impolite
2. Dont expect standard services which you get in branded hotels
3.Shifted from large room to smaller room in the middle of my stay on the pretext of some ongoing maintenance
4. Dont expect any local information from concierge / reception as they are not interested to answer any queries
5. if you wish to have breakfast in the room, only a standard breakfast / cannot be modified @ USD 20+

1. Restaurant manager was very helpful, very unlike rest of hotel staff

Considering what is available in the area, the hotel is not a bad choice. Rooms were not bad, food was nice and services more than acceptable. For a business trip or a 2-3 days stay this should work fine for most travelers.

It seems overpriced for what it is but I expect all other hotels may be the same. Service I did not find great and the use of the gym is very restricted, which was dissapointing. I will try a different hotel next time

Generally very good considering the options and location. Pretty clean and overall good service, though one cockroach found in bedroom one evening. Pool looked good though didn't get opportunity to try out.

I was impressed to find out that there is such hotel in Pointe-Noire

Although technicians attempted to repair my TV, they did not succeed to my disappointment. I eventually gave up complaining.

Quiet comfort location/

Very good stay at the Atlantic. Good breakfast, location and an amazing pool + pool area.

Great for the Congo.

Had a fantastic time. The staff were very friendly. Nadia in the reception always has a big smile as though she works in Disney world!

The stay was great but there was some noise by employees in the very early hours of the morning which disturbed my sleep on some days. The breakfast buffet was rather monotonous. The reception staff were not so friendly at check in. Otherwise a good hotel in a great location.

Excellent food, great staff, good location. Rooms were clean and staff very attentive. Will definitely stay there again.

Overall good hotel with friendly service. My room was below expected standard but a very nice garden and perfect pool are like an oasis that make you forget the dusty roads of Congo.

An excellent hotel, and a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of Pointe Noire. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and during my 3 days there I saw no mosquitos or bugs in the room at all, which is unusual for west africa accommodation. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I stayed for 3 days on business and will definitely stay here on my next trip to Pointe Noire.
