Great hotel, but animals need containing
Pros:

The staff, the cleanliness, the size of the bath and closet, the location, the free laundry machines, the free coffee and free tea available 24/7.

Cons:

On three occasions guests let their dogs jump on me. One of them was not leashed. I saw guests sneaking in cats and not cleaning up after dogs.

Disappointing
Pros:

The location was nice and the kitchen had anything you could need

Cons:

When I checked in the lady acted like she couldn’t find my reservation and when I offered help she said she had it already. Didn’t even ask for my ID or my card information granted I booked it online. She gave me keys to the room that didn’t work so I went back down to let them know and she acted like she didn’t just help me 5 minutes prior. The next morning someone knocked on the door at 7:30am and then proceeded to open it up (thank goodness the door stop prevented them from actually entering) and then shouted a quick “sorry!” and closed it. We then get a phone call on our room phone from the front desk telling us our card declined and we needed to go downstairs to talk to them. They then ask me how long I’ve been at the hotel and how long I’m staying and for my information. After showing proof of confirmation for the booking and then explaining that my card was in fact already charged they let me know that I wasn’t checked into the proper room and that the manager was the one who attempted to enter our room earlier that day although she stated she was house keeping at the time of the incident. They issued an apology and we go back upstairs to find that our room keys once again did not work and had to go back downstairs to get new ones. After all of this mess they did not offer any sort of discount or refund just an oops our bad and sent us on our way. I am extremely disappointed in our stay and will not be booking with this hotel again anytime soon.
We also had a couple of little orange lady bugs crawling around the bathroom and just left them for housekeeping to find.

Already going back again
Pros:

This was my first time at this hotel and already have my next time booked. The room was very quiet and extremely clean. The pillowcases had soft or firm embroidered on them which I like. There was a full kitchen set up. I only used the refrigerator but ita good to know for future use. Check in and out was very easy. You can hear interstate traffic but I like background noise to sleep so it worked out.

Pros:

Candlewood Suites, Sioux Falls, SD has a small staff, but they are efficient in maintaining the outstanding cleanliness and order of the hotel. They were cordial/friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel and its workings.

My room was spacious, very clean, and the kitchenette has everything needed for an extended stay.

Free coffee and hot tea are available 24/7. Snacks and frozen meals are reasonably priced.

There is free use of the guests' laundry room, which has plenty of washers and dryers.

The hotel is located closely to all the national chain stores/restaurants and local merchants. The Interstate 29 is nearby.

This is an excellent hotel, and I highly recommend it.

BEST hotel in all of Sioux Falls
Pros:

From the front desk to the custodial personnel, EVERYONE is extremely nice, helpful, and ALWAYS have an amazing attitude. Always a great atmosphere. Feels like family every time I've visited.
