Pros:

Booked the room based on location and reviews. On arrival hotel looked ok. Had booked a room on first floor. When my husband and I walked in the room right away we noticed a musty smell. Very small basic room (which we were fine with) I noticed the floors were damp. After a few minutes I spotted an earwig on the floor (no big deal) My husban found another in the dresser drawer and then another on the bed! We both decided to leave! We informed the owner (with evidence in hand) I received no apology and was told to contact booking.com for my refund. I was told 7 to 12 days before I see my refund.

Wonderful Stay
Pros:

Had a very nice stay at the Lakeside Inn. The location was perfect and the room and view were just lovely. We enjoyed our stay.

A calming stay for us after being on the road for a while!

Awesome. Loved it.
Pros:

The owners and their 'host kitties' were sweet, super personable and helpful.
The rooms were immaculately clean and spacious and quiet. On the ground floor as requested. The sunset view of the water was awesomec.

Cons:

A box of kleenex in the room and a mat at the door to wipe our shoes on. Also a single runner floor mat between the beds.
One of the cleaning staff was very kind and extremely thorough. She did a 'detail ' clean.

Bel endroit , confortable et calme.
Pros:

L’endroit près de l’eau, tranquille et belle grande chambre propre. Lit confortable.

Cons:

Forte odeur d’eau de javel à notre arrivée, avons dû ouvrir fenêtres et attendre que ça s’en aille.
