The perfect weekend getaway
Pros:

Friendly staff (especially Holly on reception), very decent breakfast and super restaurant. Traveling as a family with a toddler and dog, it is rare to have such a perfect size double room to accommodate us and they even got us a fan for the room. Cant wait to return!!

Cons:

We had room 12 and it was above the outside restaurant and unfortunately the music and noise didnt stop until around midnight on both nights (weekend). Even with the windows closed and shutters down we could hear it.

Pros:

Nos gustó que se comunicaron antes de nuestra llegada , para darnos indicaciones y facilitar nuestro ingreso, la vista es espectacular ya que tiene vista a la montaña, la habitación está bien , el desayuno poca opción de menú, pero bueno y fresco.

Fantastic hotel...homely, welcoming and fantastic location for exploring
Pros:

We had an amazing welcome by the staff, who gave us some brilliant reccommendations for our stay.
Even though reception was just due to close, they didn't rush us and spent alot of time showing us options for our time in engelberg. Giving us all the maps and info we would need. We were so greatful. (Also the recommendation was amazing and we had the best day)

Cons:

Nothing...we loved our stay here and cant wait to return

Zeer hartelijk personeel: ze waren oprecht geïnteresseerd, vrolijk en behulpzaam.
Prima restaurant, waarbij je gezellig buiten kon eten.
Ligging: vlakbij het station en centrum
Prachtige omgeving waarbij je leuke dingen kon doen.

La doccia era da "piscina", getto fisso dall'alto senza tubo per muovere il getto, non avendo il bidet, non è comodo. Mancano le tende intermedie, vi erano solo quelle totalmente oscuranti, avendo la camera al piano rialzato, occorreva chiuderle anche di giorno

Pros:

Wenn man es gerne trendig, charmant und unkompliziert hat ist die Ski Lodge genau das richtige. Super Preis/Leistung, freundliches Personal. Das Hotel ist hübsch eingerichtet und das Frühstück wunderbar. Mein Hund durfte gratis übernachten und sogar das Auto konnte ich ohne weiteren Kosten vor dem Haus lassen.

Pros:

We kregen een gratis upgrade naar een ruimere kamer met een (gedeeld) balkon. De kamer was praktisch, de badkamer eerder aan de kleine kant. De bar en ontbijtruimte zijn gezellig. Het ontbijt zelf typisch Zwitsers (enkel gekookte eieren, geen andere opties) met veel verschillende granen/muesli/havermout maar weinig fruit en groenten (je kan er wel zelf vers sinaasappelsap persen).

Cons:

De locatie is zeer centraal tegenover het station van Engelberg, maar daardoor uiteraard wel iets drukker. Er was redelijk wat straatlawaai en de rook van de barbecue van het restaurant komt recht de kamer binnen wanneer het raam open staat. Er is geen airco maar gezien het 's avonds goed afkoelt in Engelberg was dat niet echt een probleem ondanks het erg warme weer. Het bed was voor mij te zacht, al zullen sommige mensen dit wel appreciëren.

die Atmosphäre im Haus und die sehr unkomplizierte Art des eincheckens (es war niemand an der Reception) war sehr nett.

Cons:

Für Menschen die nicht englisch sprechen, eher schwierig.
