Mode Sathorn Hotel

This is a fabulous hotel in financial district of Bangkok. Right next to Sky train, river and night bazaar 15 minutes walk. Lovely coffee house on ground floor. All staff very polite and can’t do enough. Roof pool and bar with amazing views, great place to cool off after sight seeing. Also ate at roof top restaurant on first night and food was really good. As were the drinks and view.

Stayed here last Friday night. The staff were lovely and we really appreciated the free room upgrade and welcome drinks. The room was clean/comfortable, but the layout was a bit awkward and some of the furniture was a little scuffed. Also, inky one of the elevators was working so was a bit slow to wait sometimes. Still, it was a comfortable stay overall and a nice little escape.

Meets expectations. Great location and warm and friendly staff.

This is a good located hotel. SkyTrain station right opposite. 15min walk to the river for the boat up to the Grand Palace. Lovely high rise pool to cool off in after sightseeing. Good choice at breakfast. Big comfy room. Excellent rooftop bar for views of Bangkok at night. Staff are very friendly. Will stay here again

Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Good location for walking out to a few residents. Tae and Tee did a lovely job meeting and greeting us everyday with big smiles, fun jokes and ideas of where to eat and what to see. Good location for getting around the city.

Really funky hotel well situated in Bangkok near the skytrain and main transport routes and roads. A great base to explore Bangkok and come back to after a day in the heat and bustle.

The staff were all lovely and so helpful - very easy and helped us with taxis and queries. 711 literally 5 minute walk away for goodies. Lovely coffee bar/cafe attached to it which was very reasonable priced and again lovely staff.

Rooms were very clean, comfy beds and funky decor which gave it real character. Sky Bar - amazing view but you pay - do it once and then do the cafe or eat out.

Slight issues. Lifts - one was permanently out of order which became irksome at times. Breakfast was ok and pool was ok too.

Would stay again and that says it all.

Pretty standard hotel. Almost boutique in style. Rooms were modern and comfortable! Overall good stay. Staff very pleasant and welcoming!

Enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Mode Sathorn Hotel. Room was clean and comfortable with a great skyline view over Bangkok. Good buffet selection for breakfast, although better selection of fresh fruit would have helped improve offering. Hotel staff were very friendly and helped with cases to our room on arrival.
Good location with easy access to the river to get to see all main attractions around Bangkok. Also next to a BTS Skytrain location, but preferred using river to get access to sites (cooler in hot weather). Good and enjoyable stay!

This hotel is a really nice well positioned hotel in Bangkok. Next to the skytrain that will literally take you all over the city. The skytrain also is clean and has air con.
The hotel has great large clean rooms we upgraded to an executuive suite and it was worth the £50. Amazing views from the room.
We arrived earlier thn check in time staright from a long flight and as our room wasnt ready were were offered an upgrade to a room that was ready this was an extra £50, you could wait though and use the pool area.
Bed was really comfy and large.
We had a problem with our air con not working, they were really efficient at attending to this despite that they coulnt fix it so we were moved to another room.
Great pool at the top of the hotel and a nice little bar and sunbathing area.
Our room did have some unusual steps in the room to get to the bed etc and this was a bit of an issue when getting up in the night in an unfamiliar room but certainly isnt a deal breaker.
Breakfast at the hotel was good and the freshly made omelettes were really nice, some of the other breakfast bits were not that warm. Also if you are going early for trips out they will make you a breakfast box to go.

Loved the location… the room….the staff.. the hospitality everything..! The breakfast spread was also quite nice..!
They have a gorgeous roof top bar and a cafe…! The view from the bar is spectacular..!

Our room was on the 32nd floor with great views.
Room very spacious, lovely comfy bed and pillows.
Breakfast good and varied. Coffee good but machine needs to make it hotter.
Close to the BTS line which is useful.
The drinks at rooftop bar are a little on the expensive side but the the view is great with a nice breeze.
Encountered no problems and would happily recommend.
Must not forget the pool which again is great. My only complaint is the music is too loud no need as it's only a small area.

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful hotel. The staff were fantastic and nothing was to much bother for them. The room we stayed in was not particularly big but had stunning views over the city including the railway station and main arterial routes. We were located on the 29th floor. The room was comfortable, clean and practicable as was the bathroom. The bathroom not only contained a shower but it had a free standing bath with sunset views. The water in the shower was hot and shower gel, toothbrushes etc were provided, unlike some of the other hotels we stayed in.
A wide variety of hot and cold foods were available at breakfast.
Yes we found some of the alcoholic drinks to be slightly expensive as was the food. The infinity pool is stunning as is the roof top bar/restaurant. The coffee shop serves nicely prepared food and the staff are lovely.
The gym is small but adequate.
I would recommend this hotel as it has a nice ambience about it and the staff are professional, courteous and always smiling.
Taxis are easily available to get into town as is the train.

Nice hotel, great staff always ready to help, must check out the roof top pool and the roof top bar.
Roof top bar is a little expensive, but think the views and experience justifies price.
Breakfast was always hot and fresh, would recommend bringing breakfast tea, if you want a decent cuppa in the morning.

1st stop on our trip to Thailand and enjoyed it very much.
Checking-in process was straightforward, very polite, friendly and welcoming. Bags taken to our room. Very happy with our comfy room. Only things to improve it would be a how to guide re the lights and some hooks or clothes drier for swimsuits and towels.
Pool was small but very nice with brill views. When busy hard to get a sunbed or towel.
Breakfast choices and standard were good for us as veggies. Coffee very nice.
Good location to get all the places we wanted. Peaceful which was unexpected in busy Bangkok.

Great property but rooftop dining expenses are absolutely outrageous prices. You can get food that is just as good for 1/3 the price. Examples. Cocktail - >15 USd….. steak 70 USD. I would stay here but dine anywhere around the hotel.

Nice room with great views. Pool area is really nice after a day out. Roof top bar really expensive - everything is the same price! Views are great up there though.?Breakfast is good. Location very convenient for transport but location isn’t great.

Good hotel, centrally located, we walked everywhere 86k steps in 3 days. Rooms good size and with modern feel. Staff very nice and friendly. Rooms cleaned and water refreshed.
Roof top bar superb, however the price of a drink is super, super expensive £28 for 2 330ml.😱

It is next to a skyrail station which is very convenient to travel around, even to the airport.
The room and toilet / shower/ bath are clean. The only problem there is no chair to sit on. Not very comfortable to drink your coffee by sitting on the edge of the bed
