It was very nice, very well situated. The service level could be improved though.
Too pricey, and i had a few hiccups from the front desk not being respectful, to mix ups in halal food.
Had a small window of dates to catch friends in Bali. Saw deals offering many things but not in our date range. Wanted a villa with own pool and Intercontinental was the only one beach side we could find. Paid a huge amount for the 7 night stay with only breakfast included. 2 days before we arrived a deal at same hotel offerre all meals, massages, daily cocktails etc at 48% off normal price. I emailed them but got nowhere for any add ons or price restructure.
On arrival, reception is modern/new with great sea view. Disappointment once at our spacious villa. Tired, obvious slap-dash repairs, pool decking rotten in parts and boards lifting when walked on. Air- con noisy and continually cutting in/out thru the night. We wondered each morning why our soaps kept disappearing, why things in the kitcken space were on the floor and why we heard scuttering through the night. We noticed our fruit platter had been chewed and a plastic bottle containing propiotics had gnaw marks. We were sharing the villa with wildlife.
The shower in the main ensuite was poorly designed as the shower pointed onto the door where water went thru the gap. Also the door sat above the main tiling, not the recess of the shower space. This meant the floor outside the shower got flooded every shower time. We had to lay towels down each time to mop up the water.
The Balinese staff, as Balinese people are, wonderful, smiling, always happy and helpful.
This hotel has rec'd my feedback for zero response. At 48% discount and lots of freebies it is not currently value for money. We paid full price and absolutely wasted $,000s on what was suposed to be a quality hotel. I mentioned our experience to the owners representative on our last day, and effectively got a cordial shrug of the shoulders from him.

Der Frühstücksraum ist zu klein. Die langen Wege durch das Hotel und das man mit Badebekleidung an der Rezeption vorbei muss. Der Strand vor dem Hotel ist ok-Indonesien hat aber besseres zu bieten.
Had a wonderful four night stay. My room was large, clean and very modern. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, you want for nothing. Coffee was excellent. Pool and sun lounge area was good though they could clean the pool more throughout the day. Also could have more sun lounges on beach for such a large hotel. Pool overlooks the beach , great view. Food and drinks reasonable priced for a hotel. Walking distance to shops and right on beach which offers massages and many eating alternatives. I will be back

ベッドがヘニャヘニャだったから硬いベッドに替えて欲しいと頼んだら、すぐ硬いベッドに交換してくれた。
シングルベッドだったので落ちそうだし狭くて窮屈だった。
I had stayed at this property previously, before it became part of the IHG group, so I was very interested to return and experience the InterContinental Bali Sanur Resort.
I stayed in a Pool Villa, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
There is so much I love about this resort. The location is exceptional — right on the beachfront and within easy walking distance of everything Sanur has to offer. The customer service is second to none, and throughout my stay I found the staff warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. The food was also consistently excellent.
This is an older, iconic Bali resort, and I think that is important to appreciate. It isn’t without its imperfections, but for me they are outweighed by the character, space, service and atmosphere of the property.
There is something about this place that keeps drawing me back. I loved my stay, I’m genuinely loyal to the property, and I would happily choose it again.
A wonderful stay in Sanur. I will absolutely return.

Intercontinental is a good hotel but there are signs of wear and tear. The cost does not meet the standard. We requested a reduced rate for booking an extra room for 6 hours but had to pay full day. The manager was not very accommodating and prior to staying email correspondence was also along similar lines. We did however get the new room close to our check out of old room.
The staff in the restaurants and food other than this however, are very good. The swimming pool is fantastic. There is a lovely family friendly atmosphere. At the moment
We have stay in 2 Bedroom Private Pool Villa with my family, we have best experience in this International Class Hotel. Good properties, awesome staffs. We will coming on the next vacation

The rooms - twin share ocean view had a magnificent terrace that was very comfortable and large. The location was good
The rooms were on first glance stunning but on closer inspection were shabby and not very clean. The shower was mouldy. The basin was not cleaned during our stay. The toiletries were of poor quality and limited. The blind was broken - they came and fixed it but it then had to stay up. The shutters were also in dire need of maintenance one side couldn’t be opened. There is no coffee machine. There was a bodum style coffee maker but only Nescafé instant sachet coffee. Cheap tea. I expected better from a 5 star resort. The pool was stunning keeping with the minimalist vibe. Not many sunbeds. Very limited poolside service - only 4 cocktails on offer. Menu ok. The private beach lounges had no shade, no umbrellas, were very old and shabby. There was no service down there.
The gardens were minimalist.
Had buffet breakfast only once. My daughter is coeliac and even though advised in advance and at the time they did not advise what was available and there was nothing marked as gluten free.
The staff were polite but nut friendly. There was none of the Balinese famous hospitality.
It was my birthday whilst I was there - they did do a lively message on the bed and put a small cake in the fridge - on check in day and in the day. That was lovely however but a single staff member says happy birthday. I wasn’t expecting it however at other resorts, especially 5 star ones, every staff member would say something
It was an elegant resort but in sure need of some decent housekeeping and some staff training. Would I stay again? No. There are much better choices in Bali and Sanur in the same price bracket
