Will definitely be back there. Great location to enjoy the Austin touristic activities.
Pros:

Location was perfect. Breakfast buffet had everything you need. Staff and valet were super friendly.

Cons:

The comfort of the sofa bed was not great at all and there was only one pillow for it and no blanket.

- CAR VALET IS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE ($65). IT IS NOT NYC- SORRY.
- RECEPTION IS NOT WILLING TO HELP FOR PARKING AND TRY TO FORCE YOU TO USE VALET.
- A/C IS EXTREME LOUD, YOU CAN'T SLEEP.

It was rudimentary but adequate.
Pros:

Hyatt Place is far from being a luxurious hotel. It is solid but rather drab or even uninviting. It is not super comfy. This said, everything is functional and works well.

Cons:

Breakfast was rather unappetizing. My large room had no carpeting, just artificial, laminated floor imitating wood.

it was good. Breakfast was great. Just wished we were informed about the pool.

I wish that when we called and asked about the pool that they had let us know that the pool was shut down… that was one of the main reasons we booked so that was a bit of a disappointment

less than what I expected
Pros:

Hotel is in good location downtown. Valet parking $59 is the only option but it took along time to retrieve the car especially on weekends. Sofabed is in bad shape. Housekeeper forgot to provide toilet paper but front desk brought it right away when I called. Breakfast is standard but good enough. Wi-fi was down for a day. Employees are friendly and responsive.

Great Stay
Pros:

I had a great experience at the Hyatt Place Downtown. The staff was great! I was within walking distance to the conference. The hotel was very clean and in great order. I will stay here again.
