Technician only at office hour so my fridge trouble so i need to wait until tomorrow.. hope management can improve that thing

Facilities were very dated and room wasn't exactly clean. There was a lot of maintenance that was being neglected (like walls that needed painting urgently from numerous scratches, drawings etc) carpet wasn't very clean, also the towel had a little red spot

First of all for booking.com. This hotels name is "Tun Fatimah Riverside hotel" not as stated on your website "Sunday Malacca". While a Sunday Malacca hotel does exist it is a completely different hotel. I have no idea where you got your information from. This also caused some difficulty with the taxi driver having a correct address but an incorrect name. After driving around Melaka the taxi driver made a call and eventually established that we had the correct address. We finally managed to check in. The television in the room was not working neither was my friends. There was no hot water for our entire stay. We arrived and endured 3 days of hotel renovations including the removal of sections of wall with a jackhammer. This went on for up to 6 hours a day for our entire stay.

I had already booked this hotel and paid the full amount. However, after I reached the destination, the staff informed me that the room was not available and asked me to move to another hotel. This was extremely unprofessional and stressful, especially after a long journey.

Additionally, I had booked a king-size bed, but instead I was given a room with two single beds, which was not what I paid for.

They also wasted a lot of our time, and when I requested to add extra hours to compensate for the delay caused by them, they refused.

Overall, this was a very poor and disappointing experience. Bad management, no responsibility, and no respect for guests’ time. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The wardrobe was broken and board almost falls, a lot of dust even on the drawer, its was not clean properly, and the shower head also broken, make the water spread around the floor. The bathtub not really clean to have a baths inside the tub for relaxing on hot/warm bath 🛀. They not even provide the floormat, after shower a bit slippery when out from bathroom, and I ask my husband to ask from them on that night to get floormat, but no body answers the call when we call from our room to the receptionist, till my husband go down to front desk/ receptionist ask directly from the girls on the desk, but that's Indian girls said no housekeeping still work on the night, this is how the ladies answer from a guest question?? We no need housekeeping on the night, we just need floormat because the room doesn't have floormat and it's slippery after shower. Then we no choice we have to wait for the next day when in the morning got housekeeping clean the next room, we ask directly from the housekeeping ladies, for the floormat. 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Very old building. The room was also old and not very clean. I don’t think the place worth 4 stars
