Pros:

The staff was very helpful. Big comfortable room. The breakfast was great. Good amenities.

Cons:

You really need to tell the hotel when you need to have your room cleaned. And the music in the lobby was too loud especially at 6 am. There is not much around in terms of restaurants and the neighborhood is essentially a business area.

Disappointed
Pros:

Beautiful hotel very clean

Cons:

The only reason I gave this hotel a low rating is because of one person. I will not go into detail but if the staff is able to work with people of all nationalities, then they should not be working here. The stay would have excellent had I not encountered such a rude worker. So I will not stay here again. The saying is true “One bad apple spoils the whole bunch”

Pros:

The front desk staff were very friendly. I was able to check in a couple of minutes before. The room was clean.

Cons:

The room we stayed in had no microwave, and ice machine was not working on the floor we stayed on.

Great hotel with high level of customer service
Pros:

We’ve stayed at this Hampton Inn in downtown Austin 3-4 times since we have a daughter at UT Austin. Logistically it’s close enough to walk to DKR Stadium which saves a lot of hassle in getting an Uber or trying to park on game days or big event days. But, the best part is the hotel and its staff! We stayed over graduation weekend and it was an amazing experience! The room was comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was well run and well stocked with food and a very friendly staff. There’s a lot of seating even on the couches with a street view. The manager, Rose, made us comfortable from the minute we walked in the door until checkout. She made sure that we liked our room and chatted with us like old friends. Any time we asked about something she was quick to provide extra service and ideas on how to best enjoy our stay there. Also you’ll notice that the hotel is immaculately clean - no trash on the floors/hallways, breakfast stations always clean, and the rooms are cleaned every other day to perfection. We’ll continue to make this out #1 hotel to stay in Austin in part because of the location and great rooms and in part because Rose is such a refreshing hotel manager who makes you feel at home.

Can't wait to stay here again!
Pros:

I loved EVERYTHING about our stay. The location, the view of the UT Tower, the suite! Everything about our stay was amazing! I cant wait to stay here again.

Comfortable stay at a good price
Pros:

The location is excellent with proximity to all event centre's. The hotel room is spacious clean and the queen beds were comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Cons:

Only the hallway carpet needs cleaning.

Best Hampton Inn location I've stayed at by far
Pros:

Rooms were nice and big for the cost. The atmosphere of the lobby was quaint, it was walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Especially Aeon who was the sweetest and answered all our questions when checking in.
