Great Staff and Excellent Location but some basics are compomised
Pros:

Staff was excellent, very friendly. Hotel is extremely well situated. Short walk to a lot of restaurants and one of the main intersections but on a quieter side street. Easy walk to subway.

Cons:

There are no individual controls for A/C. The hotel is either running heat or A/C and they were running heat for our visit. The only way to mitigate the temperature is to open the windows. The first room was extremely hot as it faced the sunny side of the building. We asked to switch to a room facing the other side which was much cooler. The rooms are somewhat small with no space drawer space for clothing. We stayed 5 nights and basically had our bags open on the floor the entire time.

Highly recommend Amid for amenities, helpful staff and convenient location.
Pros:

Great location in heart of lively Insadong neighborhood. Staff were professional and helpful. Standard double was small but quiet and well layed out

Cons:

Breakfast was too expensive ($20) so I skipped it.
