A property that lives up to its name and expectations.
Pros:

My flight came in much earlier than the standard Check-In timings. Ms. Priyanshi, not only upgraded me but also gave me the best business-class room available. The procedure was quick, and the wait time was minimal.
While i waited, the all-day dining restaurant manager, Mr. Sandeep, was very hospitable and efficient in having my order prepared to perfection. The breakfast buffet is all that one can want. Its all there!!.
The lobby coffee shop prepared some very good brews. Great seating and environment to relax.
The staff is well trained and they anticipate your needs much in advance and cater with a very pleasant disposition.
A special mention to THE GREAT KABAAB FACTORY.
The food in something else and so is the service. A must-visit for those to stay there.
Checking out in the early hours was as comfortable and smooth as the check in. Ms.Jyoti made sure all the discounts and the billings were in order.

Cons:

Perhaps a bigger pool.....if at all. The rest was all great.

The location and the breakfast

**Excellent location, poor communication and inconsistent service**

We booked an 11-night stay at Radisson Blu Ahmedabad on a friend's recommendation. I'd like to start with the positive: Pratham Malasi, the manager who eventually took over our stay, was excellent – responsive, helpful and attentive, and he made sure we were looked after, including an upgrade. He is the reason this review isn't one star.

The rest of the experience, unfortunately, fell well short of what I'd expect from a five-star hotel, especially for a long stay.

**Communication.** Before booking, I contacted the hotel with a general enquiry about early check-in and heard nothing back. Responses only began once the booking was made. Even then, Saurabh Pandey repeatedly told me he'd call back and didn't until I chased him. Throughout our stay, my calls and messages went unanswered and I was constantly following up on simple requests.

**Early check-in.** My business partner arrived a week before me, off a long flight and travelling alone for the first time. I asked Saurabh in advance whether an early check-in was possible and made clear I was happy to pay for it, and that if it couldn't be done I just needed to know so I could arrange something else. He said the hotel was full but a room might free up in the early hours. I never heard back. When she arrived, she was told no rooms were available and had to wait around. She was charged for breakfast and sent to the restaurant instead. The charge isn't the issue – the lack of transparency is. One message saying "we can't do it" would have let me make other plans.

**The rooms.** Her room smelt of smoke from day one; she mentioned it several times and housekeeping came and sprayed air freshener, which did nothing.

Brilliant stay in the heart of the city. Close to most places I needed to be.
Pros:

They were accommodative of my requirements and had the bills ready at check-out.
I need to get some urgent laundry done, and the staff personally made sure my requirement was met. The breakfast was very good, and nobody passed on any work. When asked, they addressed it themselves immediately.

Cons:

The bathroom set old and rusty, with the bathroom curtains stained and old. The tap had a lot of old hard water residue, and the glass counter was marked. The soap and lotion dispenser were stuck to the wall and still not pumping properly. There was no way for me to give it a shake to get it working again. That said, these were very minor issues.

**Great stay and wonderful hospitality**
Pros:

My partner Ludwig Rampersad and I, from the Netherlands, stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel Ahmedabad for two nights and really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade, which was a lovely touch.

What we appreciated most was the personal attention from the staff. When we were leaving, the taxi we had booked didn’t show up. We then had two other taxis cancel on us, but the hotel staff kept helping and eventually managed to arrange another taxi for us. They really went the extra mile to make sure we could leave without any further problems.

It’s these little things that make a stay special. Everyone was genuinely helpful and made us feel well looked after.

Overall, we would definitely recommend the Radisson Blu Hotel Ahmedabad and would happily stay here again. The personal service really makes a difference!
