Très bien situé à côté du quartier chinois.
Le personnel est très agréable. Les chambres sont très bien meublées et un soin particulier a été apporté aux luminaires.

Ligging is centraal en kort bij Marina Bay.
De isolatie van de kamers is niet voldoende. De mensen die boven je liggen hoor je rondwandelen, hun toilet gebruiken en als een baby in de kamer verblijft ben je ook wakker. De voorlaatste nacht hebben we receptie moeten bellen omdat de A/C verstopt was en daardoor het condensatiewater langs het paneel in het plafond naar beneden druppelde.
All the staff was warm and welcoming, yet very professional, and the hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious, had lots of natural light and the bathroom was comfortable.
The pool has a great view, the buffet breakfast had lots of variety in both Asian and western foods.
We were able to leave our luggage at 10am and they were waiting for us in our room when it was ready. We also left our luggage after the check-out as our flight was only late at night, we had another day to explore Singapore.
The location is great, just by Chinatown and conveniently located within walking distance of the train station
The water temperature in the pool (bit cold) but it didn't stop us from enjoying it!

They don't honor your reservation per the agreed-upon terms and was quite sneaky. I booked a six-night stay. Two days before checking in, I need to shorten it to four nights. Initially they said I will have to pay a one-night penalty because it was within three days before checking in. Then I checked the policies. The penalty is for CANCELLATIONS, not modifications. I understand cancellation may deprive them from selling a room within three days, but my modification still gave them 5 days to sell the room. Only when I pointed out the penalty would constitute an unauthorized charge and I will inform my credit card company to deny payment and escalate to booking.com, did they say OK we would make the modification without penalty.
Yet at checkout I found the total of my four-night stay was not that much lower than my original booking of six-night stay, because they jacked up the price per night for me without me agreeing to that rate. Since then I contacted them via booking.com and PARKROYAL Pickering just ignored this paying customer. What a sneaky practice! Unbecoming of what they billed themselves as a "five star" hotel.
Don't stay here because you have other more worry-free choices. Most other "five stars" or "four stars" hotel in Singapore allow free cancellation one day before checking in. No need to deal with this kind of sneaky practice and leave with a very bad taste in your mouth.

Pokój w którym nie było prywatności. Goście hotelowi mogli z korytarza zaglądać do naszego pokoju. Rozwiązaniem byłyby okna weneckie, których zabrakło. To bardzo niekomfortowe gdy wychodząc z łazienki we własnym pokoju spotyka się oczami z kimś kto idzie zewnętrznym korytarzem hotelowym. Bardzo niefajne.

Nice room with comfortable bed. Good shower. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice and quality food.
Lack of storage.
Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich Freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist sehr zentral in Chinatown. Die Begrünung der Hotelfassade ist außerordentlich gut gelungen. Wir hatten im 11 ten Stock Palmen vor unserem Fenster. Die Schallisolierung hält den Straßenlärm fern.
Es war alles sehr gut.

Amazing location, great buffet breakfast, kind staff, beautiful hotel.
Extremely confusing lights in the room - rather than use switches, they have all kinds of electronic pads - it was really confusing to determine how to turn on the light in the toilet room. Also, the towels were thin and cheap feeling, which was unusual for this high end hotel. The rest of the room was amazing.
