We loved this hotel, its a walkable area, we stay every year a couple times, and the staff are so nice. This time the hotel seemed a bit "tired" and needing attention - the platform bed loudly creaked, gardens full of weeds, tired overgrown pool deck landscaping, room chair badly stained, setee broken, hallway carpets dirty. The breakfast was terrific provided by the Mermaid cafe next door.

Great “Staycation”
Pros:

Nice “Staycation” as we live close by, nothing negative I can think of except perhaps an additional electric outlet & USB sockets. The free breakfast was a great addition, to our time there. We will be back !

Charming hotel on the river! Friendliest and most generous and helpful staff. Cozy traditional style room with great character. Great outdoor sitting space with rocking chairs. Mermaid Cafe for breakfast/brunch is right beside the hotel. Great location…step right outside and walk Flagler Avenue to the beach and back with shops, restaurants and fun bars along the way!
