The location is very convenient. There is a 7-Eleven right downstairs. And there is a shopping mall.

Unfortunately, despite the excellent location, the poor cleanliness and disappointing service significantly affected my overall experience.

Cons:

I had a very disappointing stay at Mercure Bangkok Siam.

The room had a strong and unpleasant smell from the moment I entered, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. The cleanliness standards were far below expectations. There were urine stains on the toilet seat, and I even found unidentified hair on the bed, which was unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.

The bathroom faucet kept dripping continuously throughout the night, creating constant noise and making it impossible to sleep properly. As a result, I barely got any rest during my stay.

The amenities were also poor. The toothpaste was provided in difficult-to-open sachets, which were very inconvenient to use. Even worse, no new toothbrushes or toothpaste were provided on the second day.

What disappointed me the most was the service. The staff communicating online were rude and unfriendly, and their attitude was far from the level of hospitality expected from an international hotel brand. Overall, the service quality was extremely poor.

I would not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.

Property is nice and clean as well as the entire hotel, staff is super nice, I think hands down this is the best location in Bangkok its right outside of the BTS metro & 7/11 just right next to the hotel if not its inside the hotel & you have mcds 1 min walk away from you

This was my family’s first time visiting Thailand, and the team at Mercure Bangkok Siam made the arrival unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the welcome was warm, friendly, and full of genuine hospitality.

I want to give special recognition to Proud and Ellie on the front desk. They were both brilliant, but Proud deserves an extra mention — she was fantastic with our two young children, instantly putting them at ease after a long journey. Her kindness, patience, and natural way with kids made a huge difference and set such a positive tone for the start of our stay.

Check‑in was smooth, efficient, and personal. Proud and Ellie struck the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, and it truly felt like we were being welcomed into a home rather than just a hotel.

A wonderful start to our trip, thanks to a wonderful team.

Sehr schickes Hotel! Modernes gemütliches Zimmer, die Dusche hat zwar ein Fenster zum Bett, dass kann jedoch mit einer Schiebetür Blickdicht gemacht werden bei Bedarf. Netter Pool auf dem Dach und ein Fitnessraum mit Aussicht. Das Frühstück ist absolut großartig! Und als es etwas Schwierigkeiten bei der Bezahlung mit der Unternehmenskreditkarte gab, wurde sich ausführlich und nett drum gekümmert bis es eine Lösung gab. Insgesamt einfach super Service.

Cons:

Es ist ein tolles Hotel, entsprechend kostet es halt auch etwas mehr. Außerdem ist das mit den Aufzügen etwas nervig gelöst, man muss immer zuerst in die Lobby (9. Stock) fahren und muss dort den Aufzug wechseln, um zu den Zimmern (18.-27. Stock) zu kommen.
