Exactly what I wanted.
Pros:

The staff were exceptional - friendly and very helpful. The hotel is reasonably basic, but it's fresh, clean and comfortable. I particularly liked the balcony on my room. As a smoker, that was very welcome. There's no restaurant or bar, but there are excellent places quite literally around the corner, 30 seconds walk. What's not to like? The location is also great if you want a view of the cathedral, easy access to the Ludwig Museum and easy walking to the station (just the other side of the cathedral).

Pros:

Albergo attaccato al duomo, quindi in centro. Abbiamo dormito al primo piano con le finestre aperte per il caldo di agosto, temevamo che i rumori della città e della vita notturna non ci facessero dormire ma così non è stato. Sonno sereno, comodo e tranquillo fino al mattino.

Cons:

l'armadio con la gigantografia della früh un po' eccessivo, ma marginale rispetto alle cose che mi sono piaciute

Mejor de lo que esperábamos
Pros:

Ubicación perfecta muy céntrica en Colonia, especialmente interesante si queréis estar cerca de la catedral y moveros andando. La habitación para sillas de ruedas, era como un sueño, cómoda, adaptada al 100%, espaciosa. Sin duda volveremos

Zentral gelegen am Dom, gut für 1-2 Nächte
Pros:

Zentral gelegenes Hotel in der Nähe des Domes, Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber praktisch eingerichtet, gute Dusche, bequeme Betten.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war deutlich schlechter als erwartet bei dem Preis / der Selbstdarstellung auf der Homepage, ein Hotel, dass nur Filterkaffee serviert, habe ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt.
Die Brötchen waren offensichtlich industriell hergestellt, die Fruchauswahl bescheiden für ein Haus dieser Grösse.

大聖堂見学するなら、このホテルがベスト。
Pros:

駅から徒歩圏内、大聖堂の目の前の恵まれたロケーション、主なレストランやショップに徒いて行ける、部屋は機能的にできている、タブレットでいろいろな情報を得られる。コーヒーサービス、ショップがホテル内にあるなど。あと部屋はバルコニー付きでした。
