For $600 per night we were disappointed. Overall a 3/10

It was central in location

Cons:

Had trouble with the door key and there was no 24 hour reception, for the first night the TV failed to work/switch on/off. The stainless steel fridge was all rusty. It smelt like dog, I’m allergic so was unwell my whole stay.

Cons:

The room was tired. A coat of paint, matching crockery, new carpet would make this amazing.

Pros:

* In the CBD (but no soundproofing so you can hear everyone and everything on the street.)

Cons:

* Walls were very dirty with heavy stains and paint chips.
* 2nd bedroom didn't have a solid door. It was a bi-fold shutter door that did not close properly. Over 8 shutters were broken and held together by tape.
* Bathroom mirror had residue and product on it.
* Carpet in one bedroom had a strong odour.
* Carpet was stained.
* A lounge was broken with 1 leg askew. We called reception to have this fixed as you weren't able to use it.
* A window had the flyscreen held in place by sticky tape.
* The air conditioner in the lounge room was faulty, with the air vent not functioning correctly.
* The pool area was obviously very well photographed as it was very underwhelming and felt crammed between concrete walls.
* No espresso machine in the room. Just cheap instant coffee.
* The blankets in the storage trunk looked like they were just shoved in and hadn't been washed in a long time.
* You step out of the elevator into a corridor that is open air at one end. The rubbish and recycling bins are stored in the hallway along with a metal cupboard that is padlocked shut. There was a dirty sheet laying in the corridor and the tiles were dirty.

This is far from the high quality we expect from Sebel. We essentially paid over $500 a night for a 2 bedroom apartment that was barely passable.
Do not waste your money. Stay somewhere else!

Location and staff were excellent. Facilities good and clean including free parking

Cons:

Bathroom was tired with no tiles on end of bath. Noisy due to birds and several rubbish collections/ street cleaning during nightime.

We drove 100 minutes to go and stay .My booking was cancelled when we arrived. We couldn't find another hotel nearby. Not happy.
