Great accommodation for our one night away in Byron.

Front of the building could do with some work - the weathered state takes away from the reputable branding of Sebel

Pros:

Good parking - lifts to Sebel. Vary spacious apartment. Ability to cook a meal and dishwasher and washing machine/dryer were a great addition

Cons:

Unable to access the pool until 8.00 am - like an early morning dip.

Property is dated and needs some upgrading. Also in our last night there was a car fire in the basement and smoke filled the reception area and no smoke alarms went off. The next morning the reception staff were completely unaware. 2 fire engines, police, ambulance, fire and rescue and no alarm going off. Very concerning.

Very disappointed. Won't book Sebel again
Pros:

The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The location is central, close to restaurants, cafes and beach.

Cons:

We booked this because of the Sebel name, but this is not in anyway up to the Sebel's standard. The queen? room (106B) was musty and smelly, old furniture, cheap curtains and a huge water stain on the very old carpet, near the small bar fridge which had a tiny freezer compartment that was thickly crusted with ice. The bath was chipped, the grouting had black stains in the shower -over bath (which was unsafe) All this and to add insult to injury it was very much overpriced. The lift broke down a couple of times and we had to carry luggage down three flights.
