room was clean, no bugs. large comfortable room, good bedding, good AC, great pillows. convenient kitchen. Free parking, 24 hour great coffee.
no full length mirror in my room, but some rooms did have one. No complimentary breakfast.
Room was big. Great location
There was no hot water in the morning. Coffee machine in lobby dint work. Toilet was loose- as if it would fall over. Shower curtain bar loose and old. Base board in bathroom need paint.
I recently stayed at Candlewood Suites here in San Marcos on Wonderworld Drive and Mona was wonderful! I would definitely recommend coming and booking a stay here--my room was immaculate, but yes very nice hotel overall; 9/10 overall rating for me.
Hotel was clean and the room was great. The staff was great and very helpful especially Grayson at the front desk.
Grayson at the front desk was super helpful during a very stressful time and I really appreciate him. He was kind, compassionate, professional and empathetic to my situation. The rooms were nice, our stay was pleasant and I will definitely stay here again, but Grayson is the main reason Candlewood Suites will always be my choice in San Marcos. Employees, especially your frontline, truly make the difference.
Location was great!
We all booked together as a team, other parents got moved to a different location and they still didn’t have the reservation at the new location. And we drove a distance to go play over there. It was just a total mess. One of our parents room got flooded. Staff needs to have better communication and better customer service!

Dirty, no maintenance for issue with bath tub, poor condition of furniture/curtains in room, no working ice machine, staff would not respond to a plumbing/bath issue

There was no breakfast to our surprise.
From our arrival night there was only parking in the back of hotel under the trees where there were 100's of birds or bats elevators were out of order which we had to carry our luggage to the 4th floor but on the 2nd flights of stairs I fell forward which till this day I'm hurting & waiting for a response from booking.com to refund us our money the room was very dirty sheets & all. I have pics to prove my stay.
Stayed at the hotel for a wedding. Hotel is nice and clean. Very welcoming at the front desk. Beds slept well too. Centrally located. No complaints.

Convenient location, quiet, clean and affordable. Just what I needed for this trip. Though I didn't need the kitchen and other amenities, they were clean and would have been handy had I not been on such a tight schedule.
Friendly workers. Great location and comfy
The surface was clean. But the toilet under the rim looked like it had not been cleaned for awhile. The blackout curtains were grungy stained with food and whatever previous tenants had on their hands.
