They canceled my room reservation, which I have booked 11 days prior the day of check-in. Three hours after my a lot of check-in time!
they charged me $425 that morning and I have yet to see a refund.

Cons:

The walls were dirty and there were wet spots on the carpet. The shower was disgustingly a there was hair in the shower from the previous guest.
A car alarm in the parking lot kept going off. I went to speak with hotel staff and they said that there was nothing they could do about the issue.

Horrible!
Pros:

Close to freeway and I was able to get to my destination very quickly.

Cons:

No housekeeper cleaned my room. No towels or toiletries and the air felt like it was broken very human in the room. The phone didn’t work so I couldn’t call front desk. No water in the swimming pool. Very unhappy

Don’t book front desk guy is racist and rude!!
Pros:

Worse experience ever.. the guy at the front desk called the cops on us because we locked the latch and knob while we were inside the room. He said we couldn’t do that because it was the hotel rules. He told the cops he wanted us out in the middle of the night while my kids were sleeping. Also the room was dirty they didn’t even clean it, there was food left inside the refrigerator and room smelled too. He kept yelling at other little kids for being too loud. Also the pool was closed the whole stay there.

Was not expecting such a pleasant experience.
Pros:

room was clean, no bugs. large comfortable room, good bedding, good AC, great pillows. convenient kitchen. Free parking, 24 hour great coffee.

Cons:

no full length mirror in my room, but some rooms did have one. No complimentary breakfast.

I stayed a few years ago. It’s gone downhill. Very disappointed

Room was big. Great location

Cons:

There was no hot water in the morning. Coffee machine in lobby dint work. Toilet was loose- as if it would fall over. Shower curtain bar loose and old. Base board in bathroom need paint.

Mona is awesome!
Pros:

I recently stayed at Candlewood Suites here in San Marcos on Wonderworld Drive and Mona was wonderful! I would definitely recommend coming and booking a stay here--my room was immaculate, but yes very nice hotel overall; 9/10 overall rating for me.
