Hyatt Union Square New York

I’ve stayed at a lot of Hyatt properties over the years, but this one really takes the cake! The room was beautiful, Hyatt member service was exceptional, and we had a terrific ride back to the airport. Alejandro really took care of us (especially on a Friday at rush hour).

I had a lovely stay here. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Alejandro was especially helpful with getting my (many) bags loaded into my cab -- I will be staying here again!

We were robbed in room 507 at the Hyatt Union Square hotel. Two bags with belongings, one of them from The Met with museum souvenirs. 24 hours later, no one has done anything at the hotel, they have not taken responsibility, they haven’t reviewed the cameras, and all they say is ‘we’ll see,’ ‘that’s all we can do,’ ‘we’ll talk to the housekeeper’.

Please avoid this hotel if you can for your safety. Now we must let the baggages closed before leaving our room.

I honestly think Hyatt Union Square New York is one of the best places to stay. The people who work in the front desk as well as the people who you first encounter gives a friendly and memorable expectation the stay will be offering top notch hospitality. The rooms had one of the most comfortable sofas I have experienced… and in case you forgot to bring a necessity you are encouraged to call the front desk. I was able to experience and make memories with my family. There are also good(some top notch) restaurants near by but you can also DoorDash or use a delivery app. Transportation is prime location considering any tourist attractions (great location,) and there are many theaters around the area.

I appreciated the consistency of the people who work here. The people are genuine and honors their role and takes importance in hospitality - and are always willing to be of offering an extra hand, or help,
I got the impression the people that stay here starts smiling too.

Everything was perfect from the beginning till the last night.

The waiting area (lounge) and the restaurant downstairs are a great place to meet with friends.

There are Parking lots available around the area that charges by hour.

Fantastic and friendly Hyatt. Great location. A big thanks to Michelle, Corey, and Joshua. You guys are the best and make us feel right at home. You wont go wrong with staying at this place. Clean, professional and GREAT SERVICE.

As someone who has been to NYC several times, this is a fantastic location—Union Square is so convenient with easy subway access, great restaurants, and shopping all within walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and a great place to recharge after busy days exploring the city.

A special shout-out to Michelle at the front desk and the doorman for their kindness and helpfulness—they really made our stay feel welcoming. I stayed here with my daughter, and it was the perfect home base for our NYC trip. I would absolutely stay here again!

Very happy with our stay. High floor room had floor to ceiling windows that opened. Very quiet. Excellent service. Two blocks to Union Square metro with easy access to trains uptown, west side and Brooklyn. Refrigerator was on request but arrived within 5 minutes. Would definitely stay again.

I had another excellent three-day stay at the Hyatt Union Square New York. The front desk staff were exceptional throughout my visit—always friendly, helpful, and consistently professional. They truly make guests feel welcome and appreciated. The doorman and bell staff were equally impressive, quickly assisting with luggage and making it easy to hail taxis whenever I needed one. I stay at this hotel several times a year and it continues to exceed expectations. The recently remodeled lobby and lobby bar feel more open, modern, and sleek, creating a great atmosphere. The location is unbeatable, with multiple subway lines at Union Square just a block away, making it incredibly convenient to reach anywhere in New York City.

This place is perfect for location, modern rooms and exceptional service. Michelle at the front desk is professional, cares a lot and exudes patience. Alejandro, brings the positive upbeat energy and is very helpful no matter what you ask of him.

Excellent hotel in an excellent location for our purposes at NYU.

Alejandro is amazing! He’s so friendly & helpful. He set up a ride for us, gave us umbrellas, constantly checked in with us throughout the stay. He was the best part of our stay!

Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect for getting around and the room was great. The staff were all solid—shout out to Alejandro at the door for being so welcoming and friendly every time I came in. Definitely recommend!

Location was great, staff was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again. Used the gym facilities daily. Provided water and the gym and it was clean. The staff at hotel was so kind. When our trip was extended due to weather and flight issue they were able to accomadate us and keep us in the same room.
