Taksim Square Hotel

We stayed here for four nights and were so happy with our stay. We started on an odd situation as Hotel.com made an error with our reservation. Hotel reception Ihab went above and beyond to accommodate our stay and more than make up for an error he wasn’t involved with. The breakfast was also great. The location allowed us to make spontaneous walks to explore the famous square.

The breakfast is very good.

Für mich war die Unterkunft einfach super.

Das Badezimmer und die Toilette waren leider stark verschmutzt. Zudem war die Internetverbindung sehr schwach, und noch wichtiger: Das Türschloss des Zimmers funktionierte nicht richtig.

It was a really good experience staying at this hotel. The personnel was very nice, the rooms were comfortable and the hotel was perfectly located. When we arrived, they changed our room to give us one with a view on the city, which was appreciable. Since it was our first time staying at this hotel, they also gave us free breakfast. They cleaned rooms and gave us free water bottles everyday. It might be a little noisy if you're not used to hear any noise at night, but you can still sleep well. The personnel offered many services and was always ready to help. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was charged extra for a room with a sea view. Air conditioning in the room didn’t work and after waiting for hours to see if the room would cool down, a technician finally declared a fault with room AC. I was moved to a different room after midnight. The new room wasn’t soundproof and street noises kept waking me up. Of course the sea view was gone. When I told the manager about the extra charge for the sea view which I didn’t get he responded that all their rooms cost the same and that hotels.com charged me extra. He also said that free breakfast is included with every room but hotels.com charges its customers extra for it. This has really lowered my trust and opinion of hotels.com

Good location

The front desk staff was very helpful. Also when I asked for extra hangers and water I received it promptly. Breakfast is not bad and has a good view. Great value for the money, rooms are small but comfortable.

The hotel in general is excellent and has a strategic location in Taksim, in addition to the staff being friendly, helpful and upscale... I also enjoyed the stay and one of the employees was generous with me and gave me an additional service for free as a tip (free breakfast throughout the stay)... I thank the hotel management and it will be my first choice. When I travel to Istanbul
