Pros:

The staff were very polite and friendly. The location is very good .

Cons:

The bathroom was a renovated and fabulous but in shower there was no rack of anything to keep your shower gel etc. Further the check in time being 4pm , I personally felt it is too late.

It was clean , comfy and the staff were polite friendly and I would definitely go back as their is also a restaurant and a pub part in the hotel we didn’t need to think about supper after we had been out all day . Our first night we order a take away pizza and chips and watched a movie . Was peaceful . You can also order breakfast .overall it was great

This is not a hotel!! It masquerades as such with a sign out the front saying “Bankton House Hotel”, but in fact it is ‘boarding rooms’ above a pub! There is no interaction with the rest of the facilities except if you decide to go for a drink in the bar. There was no restaurant open when we arrived in a Wed evening at 7pm! There is no greeting, just a code for the door!! As a foreign traveler this place is a no!! There is no support or help with anything.. this is not a hotel!
The room itself was tiny. The bathroom is useable but tiny shower stall, poor water pressure and shoddy with mildew perhaps more in the shower area, and plumbing that did not work! !!

War nur für eine Nacht da, Betten sehr gut, Badezimmer top, Kaffeemaschine in der Suite. Online-Check-in super easy. Übers Restaurant kann ich nichts sagen, da ich es nicht besucht habe. Nähe zum Flughafen sehr gut, ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Wonderful stay with fantastic food and easy access to Edinburgh
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay. The bedroom was beautiful, spotless, and spacious, with a lovely bathroom. The food was excellent, and it was a pleasure to relax outside in the sunshine while enjoying the best coffee I have tasted and an amazing pizza. The staff were absolutely lovely. The location is ideal, being so close to the train station for easy trips into Edinburgh. We are already looking forward to our next stay.
