OK stay but not a 4* hotel
Pros:

The location was nice but Cherai beach front is scruffy and litter strewn. The beach itself is fine but has no sunbeds or umbrellas so sitting on the beach all day is not practical. We were able to get cheap Ubers into Kochi and Fort Kochi for shopping and sightseeing. The food in the Hotel a la carte was excellent and the bedroom comfortable and well equipped.

Cons:

The breakfast menu was the same every morning at the buffet. You could order a la carte some items but very often service was very slow. Not enough options all round. The hotel is listed as a 4* but this is not a 4* hotel. It is a bit tired and neglected and needs a re-vamp especially as it is listed as a beach resort. The pool is fine but limited sunbeds and umbrellas, Staff were attentive but nothing like what we experienced in the 5* hotels during our stay elsewhere.

Pros:

The location between the sea and lagoon

Cons:

Everything apart from the location.
The hotel interior was dull, drab & tired from the reception to the room to the restaurant & breakfast.
The pool & lawn were potentially nice, but there were only 5 loungers & no shade. Plus a noisy team were setting up a wedding structure occupying most of the lawn.
Disappointed, I left after 2 nights out of 3.

Perfekter Aufenthalt!
Pros:

Sehr schönes Zimmer. Gute Lage zwischen Meer und Backwater mit Bad und gedeckter Halle zum Verweilen. Ausgezeichnetes Essen mit äusserst freundlicher Bedienung.

Pros:

Wir haben 6 Nächte im Renai Blue verbracht u. würden jederzeit wieder kommen. An der Lage am Strand, an den Back Waters, einer gepflegten Gartenanlage mit sauberem Pool u. unmittelbar benachbarten gute Restaurents - alles hat gestimmt. Die Dusche hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Das vielseitige, frisch zubereitete Frühstück hat uns auch durch freundliches Personal indische Küche näher gebracht und lecker geschmeckt.

Cons:

Leider war die Klimaanlage direkt aufs Bett gerichtet. Hat zu stark gezogen. Ließ sich auch nicht anders einstellen. Schade

Restful as there is not much to do in the area!
Pros:

Staff were helpful and friendly. Though food selection was limited, what was on menu was good

Cons:

Cherai beach environs needs to be developed. At the moment very run down and dilapidated. Narrow road and poor lighting made walking unsafe.

מלון טוב אבל ספא לא פועל.
Pros:

המלון נמצא מעבר לכביש לחוף הים.ארוחות בוקר טובות. בסה״כ מלון טוב ברמת 4 כוכבים עם חדרים מרווחים עם מרפסות צמודות.

Cons:

אחד השיקולים לבחירת המלון היה הפרסום שיש לו ספא. כשהגענו אמרו לנו שהוא בשיפוץ. למה מפרסמים שיש ספא כשאין?המליצו לנו ספא שיש ליד אך שם לא היה ספא אלא רק מסאג׳ במחיר מופקע.

Pros:

De ligging is uitstekend, aan 1 zijde de oceaan en andere zijde de backwaters. Op 15 lopen voldoende restaurants en winkeltjes. Personeel levert een goede service.

Cons:

Het menu van het hotel is redelijk beperkt.

Great relaxing stay at blue waters, cherai beach.
Pros:

Location was near to the beach and a few restaurants and cafes. The hotel was a newish building, it was clean, spacious and everything worked. Room cleaning was available every day. It had a pool, which we regularly used. Staff were lovely. Restaurant food was really nice. The room had a safe. Shower was good. It had two comfortable armchairs in the room. You can book transport via the front desk. It had a car park.

Cons:

It was probably a bit too remote a destination for us. There wasn't a huge array of things to do nearby but it actually made us take the slower pace we needed after nearly 2 months of being on the move.There's limited space to dry things like swimming costumes.
