Pros:

Pousada de Coloan is located in a quiet, remote part of Macau, surrounded by the sea on one side and lush greenery on the others. If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil place away from the busy city, this hotel is an excellent choice.
I really liked the interior of the room — it feels like staying in a traditional, old-style Portuguese hotel. The view from the window was beautiful, with the sea very close, greenery all around, and a sense of calm and silence. The small restaurant was pleasant, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
I accidentally forgot my coat in the room, and the hotel kindly sent it to me by post, which was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. Another lovely touch was the complimentary drinks served in the lounge area — it felt very warm and personal, and my son especially loved the plum drink.
Although the hotel is not new, it offers excellent value for money, and our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Cons:

One inconvenience was that reaching the room with suitcases required going down the stairs. The receptionist kindly helped by carrying one suitcase, while I carried the other. This arrangement was manageable but not ideal, and it would be worth considering a more convenient solution for guests with luggage. Additionally, there were slight traces of mold in a few areas around the sink, which should be relatively easy to address nowadays.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a quiet, atmospheric seaside retreat in Macau.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist wie eine kleine Ruheoase im hektischen Macao. Haben die idyllische Lage und die besondere Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Unser Familienzimmer war sehr groß mit einem wunderschönen Blick vom Balkon. Den Pool hatten wir meist für uns alleine. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Die Busanbindung zum Strip / zur Altstadt ist auch sehr gut. Wenn man mit großem Gepäck ankommt, empfiehlt sich jedoch ein Taxi, um die Treppen von der Bushaltestelle runter zum Hotel zu umgehen.

Klidná lokalita pro méně náročné
Pros:

Klidná lokalita v přírodě u pláže a stezek v kopcích. Velmi milý personál a dobrá snídaně. Vynikající večeře v restauraci s terasou s krásným výhledem. Ubytování je pro méně náročné cestovatele, s dobrým autobusovým spojením, jen se musí jít na zastávku do prudkých schodů. Balkón u pokoje s výhledem na pláž.

Cons:

Pokoje jsou už trochu v rozkladu a zasloužily by renovaci. Žádný obchod v okolí (nutno dojet autobusem nebo delší pěší procházkou).

Great location, a bit quirky but a nice visit.
Pros:

This hotel is in a great location, right on the beach, quiet, except for the sound of waves, which we could hear from from the balcony. We visited in December, but it was warm enough for an early morning swim in the sea. It is walking distance (about 25 minutes) to the famous Fernandos restaurant and easy to catch buses elsewhere.

The staff are nice, the balconies are a good size with a nice view, as is the terrace and the breakfast room is pleasant. The room has a kettle and a fridge.

Cons:

The hotel itself is a little tired, the door lock didn't work well, the wardrobe didn't open easily and the decoration is old and a bit shabby. The staff were nice, but when we got back at 5:00pm the room still hadn't been made up and it took asking a number of times to eventually get someone to make up the room.

The breakfast was not great for me, a fair choice but not what I like - cheap white fluffy bread for toast, only cornflakes for cereal choice and no soy milk.

美味しいもの食べて,美味しいお酒呑んで、のんびり過ごすために泊まるところ。
Pros:

全室シービュー。ロケーションも最高。
車の騒音も無く、波音と鳥のさえずりだけ。そして何と言っても併設のカフェレストランが最高。何を食べても美味しいし、ワインも豊富。ハウスワインも美味しい。スタッフもフレンドリーで親切でキュート。

Cons:

客室に降りる階段が少し急だったのと、途中にある自販機が、クレジットカードや現金が使えなそうだったこと。
