Brilliant hotel- stayed over whilst visiting family, the had an amazing Christmas event on, brilliant! Got some Christmas 🎄 gifts sorted from the fabulous stalls!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Rotherham North when I was taking part in the Rowbotham's Round Rotherham 50 mile event which started and finished a short walk away at Manvers Waterfront Boat Club. The hotel was an excellent 2 night base allowing me to be near the start line early morning and a very close bed when I finished in the evening.
The staff were the highlight of my stay, being very helpful and friendly - 'Ryan' specifically, could not help me enough and took the time for a lovely chat.
The room and facilities were just right for what I needed.

Was a very last min booking, bit out of the way & we didn't know the area at all.
Staff helpful, shops & places for food nearby.
Breakfast included, problem with coffee machine, staff stepped in & made coffee from the bar.
Would return if in the area & needed a place to stop

Very friendly, yet professional staff, also very efficient, the room was exceptionally clean, in all areas and all the room facilities were excellent........there was an excellent choice for breakfast, catering for everyone, everything was fresh, the cooked food was hot and a great choice of drinks, hot and cold.......we didn't use the bar, but it looked very clean with a good range of drinks.......all in all a very enjoyable stay and we'll definitely be back, thank you.

On arrival we were pleasantly greeted by concierge called chad at the reception he was pleasant he was polite and very professional and most of all helpful and very informative and we couldn’t have asked for more which made the start of our day absolutely wonderful, the room was what we expected only downside we couldn’t find a usb port to charge our devices soo we had to use the tv usb port which as we all know is a very slow charge, we slept well as no noise anywhere bed ok amenities fine shower in room good no complaints really, parking was ok as we booked in late about 10pm with still parking spaces, breakfast well it was superb I say superb because of the fact that for £55 a night including breakfast is a no brainer there was sausage,bacon,scrambled eggs, beans, toaster for toast, tea coffee so for the price it was excellent would I stay here again and would I recommend it to friends and family it’s a massive definite YES

They should have more information on their meal availability.

The receptionist was very nice, welcoming, friendly and helpful she checked us in speedily, have us the information we wanted regarding evening meal and breakfast. The room was very comfortable and nice, it was quiet, WiFi was good, breakfast was freshly cooked, there was a good selection and it was delicious. Would recommend staying there.

Warm and friendly welcome upon arrival

Obviously recently updated, the property was in very good condition throughout.

The shower was not working, my partner had to have a freezing cold shower to wash the soap off. I could not have a shower and the shower room absolutely stunk of sewerage. I have a video of the shower not working

What an absolute dump of a place avoid at all cost rooms are filthy and that's no joke walked in the 1st room very horrible smell at least 7 large brown shxt stains on carpet
A piece of carpet even missing
A turd in the toilet
Bottom of the toilets badly stained and the shower plug was BLACK
Shower and toilet had pubic hairs and even on telephone in room
Shower was filthy
Broken kettle thick with dust and still filled with water
Lamp shade thick in cobwebs some work some don't
This hotel has suppose to have been refurbished after housing immigration but no way on this earth all I can say is they employed blind contractors

Breakfast was ok it was free that was basically to get people back in using the hotel after bad publicity in news from riot

I wasn’t going to book this hotel after reading the reviews but I’m glad I did everything was perfect the lovely guy on reception greeted us with a friendly smile and checked us in with no problems I had the double room with a bed settee I asked for a cot for our daughter as she can’t sleep in a proper bed yet the travel cot was placed in the room with a proper soft mattress and it was made up ready for her to sleep in with blankets provided the double bed was comfortable with fresh clean bedding the room itself was perfect for our needs super clean and fresh the shower cubicle was large enough for 2 people the power shower was really nice and refreshing after a busy stressful day traveling breakfast was provided but it’s a buffet style help yourself plenty of hot and cold food to choose from and hot and cold drinks available I will be definitely returning when visiting family in the future

Very friendly staff, plenty of parking available.

Double room very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. The only issue is the road noise which is constant all night.

Staff was great. Clean rooms. Great breakfasts.

Good property, but restaurant staff strength is very low.
