This is a great hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay and I would recommend staying here if your in the area

We stayed at Our Habitas in Atacama for 4 nights and it truly felt like discovering an oasis in the middle of the desert. The surroundings are stunning, with the landscape creating a peaceful and unique atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind.

The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully designed in an adobe style, which feels both authentic and incredibly effective for the desert climate. They stay pleasantly cool and comfortable, and everything was very clean. The decor throughout the hotel is cohesive and stylish, creating a calm and harmonious environment.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and always happy to help. A highlight of the stay was the wellness centre. I had an amazing massage from Loretta—possibly one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

The food in the restaurant was also excellent. Everything we tried was delicious, with the pork dish being a particular standout. The only slight disappointment was one night they did a barbecue and it wasn’t up to the standard of the main restaurant. However, our wonderful waiter Luis Fernando, sorted everything out for us.

A couple of small feedback points: a luggage rack and a chair in the room would be very helpful, along with a few more hangers. Another thing that might improve the experience would be a shuttle service to the main shopping street. It’s only about 10 minutes away, but walking there in the heat can be a bit challenging.

Overall, a wonderful stay and a truly special place in the Atacama.

A fantastic and beautiful hotel. The breakfast was delicious! The staff extremely friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed a great massage. Highly recommended!!

Stayed 8 nights. Returned after a 1-night camping trip with two confirmed bookings. Receptionist (the woman with many star tattoos) assigned incorrect room type without checking reservation, and response was dismissive (“not my problem”). No apology. Check-in took 30+ minutes while visibly exhausted from trekking. For a $300+ per night property positioning itself as experiential hospitality, service did not meet expectations.
Plus, the restaurant food is a disappointment.

The highlight of our stay was really the tour service. I mean that's really what you go to the Atacama desert for, right?

We found Our Habitas Atacama to be a desert oasis. Despite some of the negative reviews here, our stay was perfectly fine. It’s a decent, comfortable place to stay while exploring the area and I appreciate the complementary wellness activities they offer.
The absolute best part of our trip, however, was the tour service provided by Trekana, especially Paolo. When I wasn’t the most responsive during the planning stages, he stayed patient and kept me on track and because of that, I was able to fully experience the AMAZINGNESS of the Atacama Desert.
We did the Stars & Fire astronomy tour and I highly recommend it. The night sky was breathtaking beyond words. Our guides Katerina, Fernanda, and Etan (I’m sure I've butchered their names. I'm so sorry!) were warm, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Katerina spoke 3 languages that night to accommodate everyone on the tour. Seeing the stars like that was a bucket list moment I’ll never forget.
Mauricio, our guide for the Lagoons and Socaire tour, was also phenomenal. He taught us so much about Chile as a whole and that made the experience even more meaningful.

Nuestra estadía en Our Habitas Atacama fue simplemente maravillosa. Es un hotel acogedor que realmente nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Viajamos en familia y el trato hacia nosotros y nuestros hijos fue siempre cercano, cariñoso y con la mejor disposición por parte de todo el equipo.

Las instalaciones son impecables: limpias, hermosas y de primer nivel, cuidando cada detalle para que la experiencia sea perfecta. Las actividades incluidas por el hotel fueron fantásticas y enriquecieron aún más nuestra estadía. La comida del restaurant y el desayuno fueron excelentes, todo delicioso y muy bien presentado.

Queremos dejar un agradecimiento especial y muy emotivo a quienes hicieron nuestra experiencia inolvidable: Oscar, Maca, Pedro, Aurora, Paula, Jaime, Eduardo, Armando, Ari y Fernando. Gracias por su dedicación, calidez y por hacernos sentir tan bienvenidos.
