Premium Price, Indifferent Service
Pros:

Stayed 8 nights. Returned after a 1-night camping trip with two confirmed bookings. Receptionist (the woman with many star tattoos) assigned incorrect room type without checking reservation, and response was dismissive (“not my problem”). No apology. Check-in took 30+ minutes while visibly exhausted from trekking. For a $300+ per night property positioning itself as experiential hospitality, service did not meet expectations.
Plus, the restaurant food is a disappointment.

Phenomenal Tours with Trekana
Pros:

The highlight of our stay was really the tour service. I mean that's really what you go to the Atacama desert for, right?

We found Our Habitas Atacama to be a desert oasis. Despite some of the negative reviews here, our stay was perfectly fine. It’s a decent, comfortable place to stay while exploring the area and I appreciate the complementary wellness activities they offer.
The absolute best part of our trip, however, was the tour service provided by Trekana, especially Paolo. When I wasn’t the most responsive during the planning stages, he stayed patient and kept me on track and because of that, I was able to fully experience the AMAZINGNESS of the Atacama Desert.
We did the Stars & Fire astronomy tour and I highly recommend it. The night sky was breathtaking beyond words. Our guides Katerina, Fernanda, and Etan (I’m sure I've butchered their names. I'm so sorry!) were warm, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Katerina spoke 3 languages that night to accommodate everyone on the tour. Seeing the stars like that was a bucket list moment I’ll never forget.
Mauricio, our guide for the Lagoons and Socaire tour, was also phenomenal. He taught us so much about Chile as a whole and that made the experience even more meaningful.
Deep gratitude to Paolo and the Trekana tour guides. You made this trip unforgettable.

Calidez, excelencia y momentos inolvidables
Pros:

Nuestra estadía en Our Habitas Atacama fue simplemente maravillosa. Es un hotel acogedor que realmente nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Viajamos en familia y el trato hacia nosotros y nuestros hijos fue siempre cercano, cariñoso y con la mejor disposición por parte de todo el equipo.

Las instalaciones son impecables: limpias, hermosas y de primer nivel, cuidando cada detalle para que la experiencia sea perfecta. Las actividades incluidas por el hotel fueron fantásticas y enriquecieron aún más nuestra estadía. La comida del restaurant y el desayuno fueron excelentes, todo delicioso y muy bien presentado.

Queremos dejar un agradecimiento especial y muy emotivo a quienes hicieron nuestra experiencia inolvidable: Oscar, Maca, Pedro, Aurora, Paula, Jaime, Eduardo, Armando, Ari y Fernando. Gracias por su dedicación, calidez y por hacernos sentir tan bienvenidos.

Sin duda, volveremos y recomendamos este hotel a quienes busquen una experiencia auténtica, familiar y llena de detalles que marcan la diferencia.

The worst of the 6 hotels stayed at during Chile trip

Cons:

Scam through booking.com that hotel was aware of- only stopped by my bank- the hotel should be making guests aware. Reception poor arranging airport transfers and had to send passport details 3 times. Difficult to get drinks by pool and had to ask for a breakfast menu. Should be more aligned with the tour operator - our stay included breakfast but do did the tours, the tours included evening drinks and snacks which weren’t needed before dinner.

Mooi, maar niet in verhouding met de prijs
Pros:

Mooie huisjes verspreid over het terrein, waardoor het kleinschalig aanvoelt. Leuk dat ze verschillende faciliteiten organiseren zoals yoga, star gazing en sound healing.

Cons:

Slechte prijs-kwaliteit verhouding: het was 450 euro per nacht met veel kleine gebreken en de service was niet altijd goed. Zo hebben we een keer een uur op ons avondeten moeten wachten, heeft de schoonmaakster ons geen nieuwe handdoeken gegeven om te douchen en hebben we een kapotte föhn gekregen. De parasol aan het zwembad was kapot en werd niet gemaakt, terwijl er al zo weinig schaduw aan het zwembad was.

Péssima experiência!

O lugar é bonito.

Cons:

Cheguei lá achando que se tratava de um hotel 5 estrelas, pois era como estava classificado no booking, mas uma atendente muito mal humorada nos disse que o hotel era 3 estrelas e não sabia o motivo de estar diferente no booking. Nos exigiram o pagamento de um caução de 250 dólares mesmo a estadia tendo sido integralmente paga antecipadamente. A arrumação do quarto era péssima, a ponto de termos que ir pedir papel higiênico. Não tem ar condicionado. Café da manhã com poucas opções.

Kein Management, wer trägt dort überhaupt Verantwortung?, falsche Abbuchungen bei der Endabrechnung, Abbuchung statt Gatantieblocking, nach Klärung nochmal falsche Abbuchung über 257€ im Nachhinein- ohne Ankündigung - unberechtigt: absolut nicht die Qualität, die man bei den Preisen erwarten kann…

Nice and quiet atmosphere, good breakfast, very good dinner.

Cons:

Very poor reception service. It took 7 hours, several WhatsApp messages and 3 personal discussions to make them pick up the phone and confirm airport transfer for next morning. I would not expect such approach in 350 USD / night hotel.
