Pros:

Very good for a budget hotel! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the AC was nice and cold. The bathroom was clean, comfortable, and cute, with a strong shower and hot water that worked perfectly. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable and affordable stay!

Pros:

Le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant.
La literie est bonne, l’hotel calme, très propre. L’accès à la piscine du Novotel est un vrai plus!

Cons:

Pour le prix il serait super d’avoir le petit déjeuner inclus.

Ok but very basic breakfast and bathroom.
Pros:

Location in the centre of town near shopping malls and restaurants.
Friendly staff.
Good quality mattress.
Clear reception of tv channels.

Cons:

No cheese available for breakfast. I asked for cheese. The waiter went to ask for it but after a few minutes came back to say that he didn't get cheese.
Last year, I got cheese from a waiter. This year not.
Hence, only sweet bread with jam, honey and chocolate. Certainly not suitable for western tourists.
Bathroom is EXTREMELY small. Only suitable for one person.

Good choice in Balikpapan
Pros:

A nice stay in the quiet town of Balikpapan, I always stay there as I work offshore. Clean room, breakfast buffet ok. On the down side, the room service is extremely slow. Very helpful staff at the Lobby, especially Cella and Rohan.
