Small gem at the right place.
Pros:

Great location for short stay - just minutes from airports and 2 minutes walk from The Mall. Excellent service starting right from the Front Desk. Spacious rooms and decent prices. We enjoyed very much a variety of food at the breakfast buffet. The nice surprise was to be recognized and remembered from the previous stay, right at the Reception. It was nice to find a little sports bar area arranged to watch football championship.

Pros:

Front Desk was very helpful. We got the room with a bath, which we sought. Great variety at breakfast buffet. Decent pricing. Proximity to airport is a great advantage.

Novotel Sofia
Pros:

The rooms were clean,tidy and spacious. The service in the bar and restaurant was very poor due I think to a lack of staff. One guy was running the bar but also trying to attend to clients in the restaurant as well. We ordered our meals at the same time but I had finished mine long before my husband's arrived. We ordered more wine but eventually had to walk to the bar to ask for our drinks. Not good enough Novotel. You cant expect one man to cover everything, he is great but not superman!
