Excellent choice
Pros:

I had very pleasant stay, with its convenient location near the airport and a shopping mall right next door for dining and shopping. The room was spacious, spotless, and well equipped, with very comfortable bedding. I especially appreciated the hotel’s eco-friendly touches, such as refillable water stations and paper-based amenities. The restaurant was excellent, and the friendly service from the manager, Damian, made the experience a perfect 10.

We are regular guests of the Accor hotel network and have always experienced excellent hospitality and professional service. Unfortunately, our experience at Novotel Sofia was very different, mainly due to the attitude of the bar manager.
We politely asked if the hotel could store a small bag containing two boxes of cheese for us, since the minibar in the room was extremely small and there was simply no space to place the bag inside.
Instead of trying to assist or offering any alternative solution, the bar manager reacted in a very unpleasant and dismissive manner. His response was unnecessarily harsh and left no room for discussion. The way we were spoken to felt disrespectful and humiliating as guests.
This was especially disappointing because it does not reflect the level of service and guest care we are used to receiving from Accor hotels around the world.
We hope the hotel management will address this issue seriously, as no guest should feel degraded for making such a simple and reasonable request.
