Breakfast staff was amazing.Coffee machine was not working.Bedroom no TV as no channels working and waiting time for transition from 1 night to 2 nights should not be waiting till 3pm to check in found this ridiculous
Booked 2 nights separately but instead of transferring to daughters room which she checked out from had to wait till 3pm before moving in after saying just bed to be made as I needed to leave 11pm yo drive back to Bournemouth.Had to wait till 3pm before I could sleep defeats the purpose of another night which I paid for

Beautiful hotel when you enter reception and throughout as you make way to your hotel room but the bedrooms are in need of an upgrade

Perfect location right in town but no street noise from the room. Comfortable room and bed , good facilities and parking underground under the hotel so really great .
Nice staff.Excellent central location with underground hotel parking first come first served.(£8.70) other secure parking nearby.Dinner menu very well priced/lots of other venues close by.Good breakfast choices.A very good hotel and all round experience.

Large sized room and bathroom with low profile shower.
Nice feature was the grab rail in the shower if needed by an elderly or disabled person, often do not see this.
Noisy in the evening after closing time, couple next door speaking in high volumes.
Then some idiot at 4.00am, severely banging on a bedroom room door trying to get in, which must have woken all the hotel. Would have liked to provided this feedback on check out.

Fab location and has a car park which is always helpful in a city.
The receptionist was mod way through checking is in, when another staff member walked through reception to the back room. He then mid check in left to get the gossip, very obviously and not very quietly.

Nothing. We were told we couldn't stay because of a flood.
Had to go stay at a different hotel out of town and pay for taxis to town to do what we came to do having already paid for 24 hour parking at the King's Hotel.

No room service, no fridge in room, TV didn't work properly
