I found it much lower quality than the ratings I saw, before booking. Not a professional place. Could not contact anyone for help in the night for an emergency. All lights in the premises were switched off to save power. Very scary. Also, it does not look like a heiginic place. No proper hot water in the bathroom. good location, tasty food. They dont accept credit card.

Walking in tea plantation nearby in the morning is awesome and peaceful

If you have little more budget find a better hotel.

Location of the place is very good and makes up for the deficiencies in the facilities (like availability of hot water). Staff are friendly and helpful.

Beautiful views from lounge/parking area (no views from room)

Cons:
Low speed WiFi in room
Rooms were cold (in winter), no heating and extra blankets too thin.
Our room was very noisy in the morning as it was right next to reception

We went for a family vacation. Stayed there for 3 nights. But I would recommend not to stay for more than 2 nights. The service was very good. All the stuff members were very helpful.

Cons:
1. They don't change the bed sheets.
2. No room cleaning each day.
3. Very limited food items.

Location nice but amenities zero. Toiletvwas clogged... had to pay extra 300 rupees for heater. I had looked 2 rooms. Was freezing cold at and one heater did not work and apparently one of circuit breakers had tripped nobody in kidfle of night to attend. Breakfast not appetizing. Yoghurt and fruits would be nice. Waited 30 mins for a cup of team forget leaving early..kitchen opens at 830. Whole place is in Metal sheets and if temp drops to below 15 C which is the case... all comfort go out. Sorry.mm but not a place for foreign visitors and definitely ZERO COMFORT.
HONEST OPINION AFTER STAYING IN KORE YHAN 3000+HOTEL ROOMS IN 73 COUNTRIES VISITED.

I had been to the place in February 2015. Stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days. The place has 7 rooms in total. We had taken two rooms. Rooms were neat to say the least. I was not happy about the ventilation of the rooms. The cot made all kind of noises straight from a horror flick, which was a bother to me. Staff were good and friendly.
Overall doesn't deserve a top ten rating as suggested on TripAdvisor.

Ligger lite utanför, så det är lugnt och skönt, med fin vy över bergen. Nära till en riktigt bra utsiktspunkt också. Rummen är lite lyhörda, men det är rent och fint och allt funkar.

Cozy. Excellent Staffs. Nice view.
Only thing is that no Kitchen, hence you have to order well in advance.
Otherwise they make me feel at home.

The food served in the hotel was excellent. I would definitely recommend if you are staying in i india to have the food from theBay hotel itself.

The manager was really rude & called us liars even before we were given an option to speak since he felt we had cheated him with regards to the number of people using the room. The tin roof left the place really cold (should have borrowed their heaters) but the rooms were clean, the view beautiful.

It was a great experience. Would really reccomend everyone

THIS IS MY SECOND VISIT TO THE HOTEL. I HAD BEEN THERE IN 2013.

If you are going to Ooty i-India is the place you should stay at. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable, the food they serve are amazing and made out of local goodies, and the view is spectacular. The place is a few km outside the city, but there are buses that will take you there in 5 minutes. I personally loved that it was not in the center because that made it very peaceful with nice fresh air. The service is really really good. They also provide pick up service from coimbatore arirport (good price!!). What else can I say? this is the place and i'm actually already planned to go back and stay here again in a few weeks.
