I will stay here again
Pros:

The staff was very friendly. Even found my Rewards Number and added points. The breakfast was tasty. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, good hot water. Restaurants nearby. Canal walk was nice.

Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable

Cons:

The hallway from swimming area to elevator was very slippery and wet . Need to find a way to keep that area dryer
Also there needs to be drapes that close as the lights from thruway or big factories (not sure) but they were shining in all night and then the early morning sun.

Cons:

Room was FILTHY! Dust, dust balls, crumbs under TV. All the wood was covered in dust as though the room hadn't been cleaned in weeks...Absolutely gross!!
Will sleep in my car before staying there again!!

Best front desk service
Pros:

Stayed here on our way through on a road trip back from Maine to Michigan. Convenient location right off the highway. Requested and received an 3rd floor room and it was overlooking part of what I think was a harbor. Aging motel, but mostly clean (spotted a couple stray hairs in the tub and one on the bathroom floor). We’ve stayed in several places on this road trip and this was by far the best front desk service. Even though they were short a staff person and Jon was doing double duty, he was very personable and friendly and accommodating.

It was ok for one night
Pros:

Hotel staff were nice. We overslept and they gave us some breakfast for the road

Cons:

There was blood on my sheets. Pillows and bed were not very comfortable. I could feel the bed springs and the pillows were flat

The location was convenient and the rooms were perfectly clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast for boilermaker runners was a great addition!

10yrs Birthday pool/sleepover party
Pros:

I liked how quiet and empty it was. I saw very few people during the stay. I also lived that no one ever came to the pool but my room, (3 girls age 10 and myself. They had a great time.

Cons:

I didn't like how the staff were, no conversations just her is your room keys the wifi.....etc, when I attempted to chat the guy was far to busy on the computer to give a response. In the morning at exactly 1102am a manager came to my room for trekking me It was time to leave. Which I was well aware of due to the cleaning staff huffing and puffing outside my door. During the stay I saw not 1 single staff unless I went to the front desk. The girls were definitely loud at times, very loud. No issues on that. And no issues with the smoke from the birthday candles on the cake.
