Excellent experience. Very pleasing. Wont mind staying again.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent, very good options and a lot of variety to choose from.

Cons:

Everything was very good. Frankly no complaints as such. Except the access road was an eyesore.

Friendly service and good food, but the pool and room issues made it far from five-star.
Pros:

Lots of good things about our stay: the staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of food, and the restaurant was consistently good - we ate there several times during our stay. The location worked really well for us, the showers were reliably hot, and the rooms were comfortable. We also made use of the laundry service, which was quick and efficient. The gym was good, with a range of equipment.

Cons:

Unfortunately, several aspects of our stay were disappointing. Firstly, one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the swimming pool, but when we arrived, it had pigeons bathing in it and droppings around the edges. This could easily be resolved by installing netting above the pool area. Secondly, the hotel had scheduled multiple weddings and parties during our stay, which meant the pool and other shared spaces such as the garden were closed at various times. This was incredibly frustrating, and although the hotel declined to offer compensation, they did arrange access to a pool at another hotel, which was much nicer. We were also disturbed by loud partying in the rooms above. Thirdly, the furniture in our room felt dated and the cleanliness was questionable. Overall, it did not feel like the five-star experience we were expecting, and the stay felt overpriced for what was delivered.

Cons:

Old property. Furniture and facilities are ageing. My cupboard door came off its hinge and had to be re-hinged. There were a few power outages as well.
