Just what my family needed!
Pros:

Room was just what I needed ! Very comfortable , early check-in, and the pool was very clean and up to par with fully stocked fresh towels !

Breakfast was okay ! I’ve had better breakfast there in previous stays ! But overall it was perfect for my family for my daughter’s 8th birthday!

Pros:

The room was adequate - exactly what I expected.

Cons:

Not the fault of the hotel- there was a very loud family in the room next door. Their kids were running wildly around the hallways in the building. Someone did end up reporting them to the front desk who then intervened with little success. The cable was also not working for a bit.

Very nice property and close to everything at Waterfront.
Pros:

Front desk clerk was very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast area was inviting as was the back fire pit. Room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

My card key didn’t work for out back and I got stuck until someone let me in.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely have given them a five star rating if it weren’t for the poor upkeep
Pros:

Wonderful location! I wanted to stay close to my daughter, but also close to Kennywood Park and several other locations that I planned on visiting with my daughters for Christmas. One of my daughters lives about 45 minutes away and was a little concerned about me staying in Homestead. However, the Waterfront is an excellent area in this not so great town. I was thrilled with the close proximity of the Waterfront plaza, the AMC movie theater and the charming little footbridge that is about a five minute walk from the hotel that takes you over top of the busy street and straight into the Waterfront plaza. I am excited to stay there again for this reason and especially because one of my favorite places to visit in the summertime is Sandcastle Park, which is literally right around the corner. They offered a very good, hot breakfast that ran until 10 AM and the room was very spacious and clean. I also chose this hotel because they are pet friendly and they were very accommodating to me and my two little dogs by putting us on the first floor near a back door that was very convenient for walking them. I also noticed that, unlike most hotels that have very thin walls, this one seemed to be built in a fashion that blocked out a lot of the noise coming from inside of the rooms. My dogs are not terribly yappy but, being little dogs, they do bark occasionally and when I was outside of the room, I could not hear them at all.

Cons:

The fact that they do not offer a shuttle service was disappointing. However, the biggest complaint that I have is this: Early in my stay, I received a text message from the hotel saying that I could text them there if I needed anything during my stay. I sent several texts to ask questions and someone named Heidi responded fairly promptly which was convenient but on the last full day of my stay, she sent me a text asking me to rate my stay. I gave a five star review and she thanked me and told me to continue to text if I needed anything. A couple of hours later I used the pool, which is usually my favorite part of staying in any hotel. I noticed right away, entering the room that the pool water was cloudy and the room itself was cold. I got in anyway. The pool water was also very cold. Then, while I was in the pool, I noticed that the light inside the pool was illuminating what appeared to be very, very dirty water. I sent her a text right away with these concerns, stating that someone should check to see if the filter was functioning. I got ghosted.
