The absolute best, most serene experience at a perfectly located hotel with the most fantastic staff, food, and setting.
Pros:

Hotel Angelo Engel is my new very favorite hotel I’ve ever been to (and I’ve traveled a lot to many luxury resorts)! I’m soooo sad to be leaving. It was pure magic in every single way. I can’t get over how incredible and warm and welcoming the staff was. They go out of their way to pamper you and make you feel taken care of and we really appreciated that. The grounds are so stunning and serene and feel like you’ve been transported into a movie. The drinks are 10/10, the breakfast and dinner options are delicious, the spa services and space are amazing. We truly had the very best experience ever and will be recommending this hotel to anyone we know visiting the Dolomites. What was most special was the familial feeling of the hotel - it’s family owned and they really do welcome you in as one of their own. The Alpine BBQ and hike (exclusive to hotel guests) was our #1 favorite thing we’ve done on our honeymoon. We met sooooo many amazing people (fellow guests at the hotel, in addition to the family who owns the hotel) and the food and drink and service were fantastic. The guided hike was amazing (we learned so much and the tour guide was incredible). Oh I haven’t even gotten to the location yet! The location is as good as it gets. Steps away from the main village, right near all key cable cars. I could go on and on and on. Again, I am devastatingly sad to be leaving. Thank you thank you thank you to the wonderful family and staff at Hotel Angelo Engel. We will without a doubt be back and hope all of our wonderful new friends are still working there when we do!

Cons:

I liked everything. Simply note that there isn’t air conditioning so it can get slightly warm midday but this is the norm at almost all alpine hotels in Tyrol because the evening temperatures allow the rooms to cool down wonderfully. So it was all great.

Pros:

The service was good- room was tidy and clean, the staff at the front desk introduced as to all the activities in Ortisei, we really enjoyed the ebike group tour that she recommended and it is nice that Angelo Engel stayers get a discounted price for it!

The location is also excellent- it is at the town and very close to most of the cable cars that lead to the famous attractions and hiking routes.

Don't skip breakfast or dinner at the hotel, it is very nice.

Es un lugar que acoge, en el que todo está pensado para una buena estancia de los huéspedes. Muy buenas instalaciones y excelente servicio en desayuno y cena. Especial mención para Nando, cuyo servicio es excepcional. Si vuelvo a las Dolomitas, será a este hotel

Exceptional. Will come again with family and freinds.
Pros:

Exceptional in all aspects- location, amenities, breakfast and dinner, size and cleanliness of the room. Especially outstanding staff. Elena at reception had provided guidance to see and how to access places around area which would otherwise miss, Nicola and Kostya are great bar staff and Naomi provided great suggestions for trying local dishes in hotel restaurant. The food is excellent - don’t miss it. Elena had recommend and we book guided MTB e-bike for Alpe Di Siusi through hotel - great value and enjoyable experience. Hotel also offers free guided hiking tours almost every day to different trails. End of the day sauna and a swimming pool under the sun to recharge. Already planning to come back 🙂.

Bartender was excellent, best service at the hotel

Cons:

Front staff- asked two days in a roll to open pool in early afternoon. We were snapped at that the pool hours were posted on the keycard. Keycard reads Pool 08:00 - 20:00 h, indoor pool was also locked on day 2 until we asked them to open the outdoor pool.
Breakfast should have a Wait to be Seated Sign or go to your assigned table, the older man running around complaining and grabbing a lady's breakfast plate and moving her to another table, is ridiculous considering numerous tables were available. We always had to get someone's attention after eating half our breakfast to get coffee.

Amazing location great welcoming staff and very clean rooms.
Pros:

We loved everything. From location so close to city center and seceda cable car to the front desk staff to the happy hour drinks and dinner. We also used the indoor sauna everyday and had dinner at the hotel one of the two nights we were there. Exceptional food and amazing staff. Breakfast also had lots of different options. We wish we could stay longer.

Cons:

Nothing it was perfect.
