Sijainti aivan erinomainen Ortisein keskustassa lähellä kaikkea mutta siltikään ulkoa ei kantaudu hälyä tai melua. Jokainen henkilökunnasta oli ystävällinen ja rento, tunnelma levollisen rauhaisa. Meillä oli puolihoito; sekä aamupala että illallinen olivat superhyviä. Erityismaininta viinisuosituksille ja illallisviinivalinnoille. Ei jäänyt ensimmäistäkään asiaa, mikä olisi voinut olla vielä hitusen paremmin.

We had a very pleasant and unforgettable stay in Ortisei!
Pros:

We selected this hotel knowing that it would be a special place for us to stay in Ortisei! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were right! The Angelo Engel is a wonderful hotel with all the essential amenities you need to make your stay unforgettable! Our junior suite was super spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Location was ideal to explore Ortisei’s many points of interests and beyond! We recommend this hotel without reservations and would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Despite knowing ahead of time that there would be no air conditioning, the room was somewhat warm during the daytime. However it cooled in the evenings with the windows open enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Wonderful family owned and run hotel in a fabulous part of the world
Pros:

It was fabulous from the moment we checked in and were kindly gifted a free upgrade! We found the hotel generally so wonderful, as well as the staff. Everyone was kind and helpful. We enjoyed the facilities onsite as well as the hotel bar that had such delicious wine options. We booked the rate inclusive of breakfast and dinner and the food was amazing. The hotel was conveniently located and had stunning views everywhere you looked! Highly recommend travelling in October, the weather was lovely for hiking.

Cons:

This is super nit-picky but the pillows could have been comfier!

Couldn’t beat the location
Pros:

The location was great, cable carts for both Seceda and Alpe Di Sussi were walkable (~5mins). The rooms are cosy and clean, and the spa facilities are great. We also didn’t realise that afternoon snacks were included which was a great bonus.

Cons:

Only satellite tv available in the rooms, which as an English speaker made the evenings a little dull when you just want to relax in your room before bed. It would be great if the hotel could offer streaming services (Netflix, Disney etc.)
