Ambassador Hotel Wichita, Autograph Collection

The hotel is beautiful and the room was well appointed. The drag racing and engine revving reverberating on the buildings downtown went on all night long. Noise canceling headphones partially blocked it out. It is no fault of the hotel and I hope a noise ordinance will change this for them. Until then I will pick a hotel far away from downtown.

Absolutely beautiful hotel inside. Large rooms, comfortable beds, and black out curtains that allowed us to sleep until 10am each morning which is rare for us. The free airport pick up was amazing and such a relief at a late hour and after a long day of travel. Front desk staff was always friendly. The location is decent - we found some restaurants within a ten minute walk, and Ubers are easy to get to if we wanted to go farther. Not sure if we’ll ever end up in Wichita again but would definitely consider this hotel if we do. Not a single complaint.

If you enjoy race cars, drag cars, and motorcycles revving their engines outside of your hotel room until all hours of the morning, then this is the hotel for you! It was like sleeping in the middle of a NASCAR track. While this is not an indictment on the hotel, downtown Wichita has a serious problem of loud race cars dragging the city streets. This seems like a problem the City could quickly fix with a noise ordinance and some police oversight.

The room was great and staff pleasant. The noise level outside was terrible and kept us up most of the night. When we made mention of it to the desk in the morning, they said there were earplugs and a noise canceling device in the room. They need to do better about informing guests of the street noise.

Our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The Ambassador staff attended to our needs and provided impeccable recommendations for our entertainment. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The Ambassador is our preferred destination when in Wichita.

The staff has been friendly and attentive. This hotel is an old style hotel that has been tastefully updated. My room was updated and in great condition. It was laid out nicely and being a corner room I had great views to the south and east looking over downtown. My bed was firm, which I like!!!

Terrible customer service. I had stayed here numerous times with good experiences; however, my last trip they over charged me significantly and never reimbursed. Management was absolutely no help and incompetent to resolving the issue. I will not stay again.

This hotel is hands down the BEST. Wedding day…they allowed me to come 3 hours before check in. They upgraded my King room to an entire deluxe Suite w/separate bedroom and put me in a corner room on high level for the amazing views of downtown. They gave us a free champagne toast pkg for free at Dockum’s. They extended our check out time the next morning, gave us 2 extra hours. This was all without asking! We simply called and asked to check in early because we were getting ready for our wedding. When we checked in, we were presented with all these extras at no additional charge. The extraordinary customer service, combined with luxury, and just the entire vibe….10/10!!! Room service breakfast was from marvelous! Thank you Ambassador Wichita for making my wedding day and night memorable! Outstanding!!!!!

A wonderful stay!! Beautiful hotel and staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Trevin and Maddie were delightful:) will definitely be back again!!

By far, this stay was the best part about my trip to Wichita. The hotel and staff exceeded my expectations in every way.
