Excellent hotel with friendly, helpful staff.
Pros:

Lovely hotel with excellent, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Lovely rooftop restaurant with good food. Very comfortable large bedrooms. We had a suite.

Breakfast limited for a 5* hotel staff too casual prices appeared to be on location support facilities (spa and gym) only basic and for additional rating. Not value for money better properties in the area

The stay was spoiled due to initial arrogance of reception staff. The rooms were clean

The food quality was good and dining ambiance was nice.

Cons:

The staff at reception was arrogant. He refused to take payment through AMEX card. He was then shown a placard at hid desk which 'welcomed AMEX card payments. After that he accepted the payment.
On requesting for wifi password after full payment was made, the receptionist refused to share the PW at reception.
The Gym is in poor state. The water container was empty and there were no glasses for drinking water. Thereceptionist was requested to requisition both.
The SPa is non functional. There was only one messeure who is always occupied. The 'Spa' word added to the hotel name is just to attract customers, but the Spa is not fully functional.

Pros:

An unexpected stay (due to the travel disruptions). The whole team were welcoming, helpful and supportive.

Facilities were good and the location meant that I could go out and about to explore Colombo easily.

I would definitely return as this is a boutique style hotel. Big shout out to Manuel at the Amber breakfast and poolside
Pros:

A very relaxing ambiance. Very personalised service from a friendly team. Particularly liked the water features and the intimate communal spaces. Roof top restaurant provided a varied menu and attractive decor. The glass bowl kitchen provided entertainment.

Cons:

Not enough sun loungers at the pool.

Prima verblijf in een net hotel
Pros:

Net hotel met goede faciliteiten. Ondanks dat het aan een drukke weg ligt, heb je dat gevoel niet als je binnen de muren van het hotel bent.

Cons:

Ze hadden niet gecommuniceerd dat het zwembad en restaurant dicht waren in verband met een huwelijksfeest en je als gast die dag er geen gebruik van kon maken.
