Nice quiet hotel on edge of lively area
Pros:

Perfectly situated on the edge of the lively Arabic quarter with excellent street life, shops and restaurants around and a very boho theme to the area. We loved the Sultan, which has excellent and very friendly staff. The room was certainly quiet and clean with a comfortable bed and we will stay here next time we're in Singapore!

Fabulous. Highly recommend.
Pros:

Absolutely loved our stay here. Fantastic location. Beautiful building and courtyards. Staff were super helpful.

Cons:

Our room was on the ground level facing the road behind the hotel. It was quite noisy with traffic and pedestrian traffic. Quite a bit of noise from the guests in rooms above too one night.

Great location in the heart of the Arab Quarters.
Pros:

In the middle of the old Arab Quarters of Singapore with lots of great restaurants close by the Sultan Hotel is located in a lovely renovated old building with an attached restaurant.

Cons:

A little cramped but it is Singapore after all.

Lovely heritage hotel in a great position just needs a little face lift
Pros:

The old heritage building and the location

Cons:

Our room smelt badly of damp
The room and paintwork was grubby felt like it needed a good deep clean
There was no mirror in the bedroom long or a face mirror only in the bathroom
The reception staff were not super helpful but not rude

Disrupted sleep but great location.
Pros:

Location is excellent. Walkable. Staff in front desk were great. Room is big. Bed is comfortable. Wifi is good.

Cons:

Noisy from street noise and also the drains after showering make a weird noise like someone is using the bathroom for 15 minutes.

Generally needs a refresh.

Iron is low quality and leaks.
