Overall the facilities were good. However I would not stay here again due to the behaviour of staff

Really poor service from staff.
Particularly at the reception desk. I was asked to fill out a paper feedback form at check out. I filled out the form and gave a 7/10 score for breakfast. I was immediately interrogated as to why I gave a 7 and not a higher score. The reception staff member demanded that I speak to the restaurant manager. They made it very difficult for me to leave. I needed to catch my flight and I had to insist that I had no time.
Then two days later I receive a long what's app message from the restaurant manager. I found this extremely inappropriate for a 5 star hotel.
The breakfast was extremely poor on my second day. Many things were missing. There were no alternative milks available eg soy for lactose intolerants. Staff were extremely unhelpful when I asked.
The TV also didn't work.

Pros:

The 2nd part of my stay i was extremely satisfied with the room provided. Clean and with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff made me feel extremely welcome by providing welcome chocolates . I always stay at crowne plaza when visiting Kochi
