Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer entsprachen unseren Vorstellungen und waren sehr sauber.
Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl und war sehr gut.

Cons:

Unser Doppelbett war nur 1,40m breit - da hätten wir bei der Buchung mal besser aufpassen sollen.

Für einen genialen Konzertabend richtig gut untergebracht ...
Pros:

Das Zimmer war klimatisiert, was bei 36° Außentemperatur ein Segen ist. Die Dusche war geräumig und nicht "Modell leichter Sommerregen", sondern so, daß man sich auch geduscht fühlt. Das Personal war freundlich, Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und Frühstücksraum auch groß genug, daß man leicht einen Platz findet. Weg zum Hüttengelände um die Ecke 5 Minuten zu Fuß - perfekt! Am Weg gleich noch ein Brauhaus. Am Telefon auf Nachfrage zum Hotelparkplatz (10€) der Hinweis, daß auf der anderen Straßenseite auch ein großer gratis-Parkplatz ist, auf dem ich sogar einen Schattenplatz fand. WLAN ist gratis und ohne Passwort und funktionierte gut. Zwar keine Hotelbar, aber ein großes Dankeschön, daß man im Foyer noch bis kurz vor zwei Uhr nachts zusammensitzen konnte und bei Getränken den Konzertabend ausklingen lassen konnte.

Cons:

Frühstücksraum war relativ warm (nicht klimatisiert?). Der Nachtportier war mit der Getränkeausgabe überfordert, wenn 20+ Fans nach dem Konzert im "Glutofen" Gebläsehalle durstig ankommen. Da hätte es gut getan, wenn jemand die Getränke mixt und ein zweiter die Kasse macht.

Overnight Pit Stop half way between UK and Italy
Pros:

Lovely modern hotel with all amenities, situated on the outskirts of Neunkirchen. Ample car parking charged at 10 euro per night or 7 euro for IHG members.
Great welcome by an English speaking member of staff.
Clean rooms with all facilities and air conditioning. Two elevators and accessible toilets on the ground floor.
Excellent bar (open until 2am!) and lounge areas with outside seating available.
The variety of food available at breakfast was outstanding as was the attentiveness of the staff.
Easy walk into the town where there are restaurants and bars.
So good we are staying there on the way back!

Bekanntes Klimaproblem verschwiegen. Schlaflose Nacht, enttäuschender Umgang.

Gebucht wegen der Klimaanlage, erhalten haben wir eine schlaflose Nacht. Dem Hotel war bereits bekannt, dass die Klimaanlage auf unserer Etage nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionierte. Andere Gäste wurden informiert, wir nicht. Hätten wir dies beim Check-in erfahren, hätten wir ein anderes Zimmer oder ein anderes Hotel gewählt.
Um 6:30 Uhr mussten wir schließlich selbst an der Rezeption einen Ventilator holen. Auch dieser brachte keinerlei spürbare Verbesserung.
Statt sich für die fehlende Information zu entschuldigen, erklärte das Management die Situation zur „höheren Gewalt“ – obwohl laut Deutschem Wetterdienst die Außentemperatur zwischen 00:00 und 07:00 Uhr maximal 23,9 °C betrug. Die Auffassung, dass eine Klimaanlage unter solchen Bedingungen ihre Funktion nicht erfüllen müsse, halten wir für unverantwortlich. Eine derart hohe Zimmertemperatur kann insbesondere in Sommernächten die Gesundheit von Gästen beeinträchtigen.
Wir haben den Vorfall deshalb auch der Verbraucherzentrale gemeldet.

Nous avions réservé car il y a la climatisation, mais nous avons passé une nuit blanche.
L'hôtel savait que la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas correctement à notre étage. D'autres clients en avaient été informés, mais pas nous. Si nous l'avions su lors de l'enregistrement, nous aurions choisi une autre chambre ou un autre hôtel.
À 6 h 30, nous avons finalement dû aller chercher nous-mêmes un ventilateur à la réception. Celui-ci n’a d’ailleurs apporté aucune amélioration notable.
Au lieu de s’excuser pour ce manque d’information, la direction a qualifié la situation de « cas de force majeure » – alors que, selon le Service météorologique allemand, la température extérieure n’a pas dépassé 23,9 °C entre minuit et 7 heures du matin. Nous considérons comme irresponsable l’idée selon laquelle une climatisation ne serait pas tenue de fonctionner dans de telles conditions.
