The areas affected are the main entrance, lobby and reception, with work also being undertaken in some accommodations wings. This will also affect access to the rear car park of the building. Pros:

Although it seemed busy, I am pleased to say the hotel was quiet where I was located at night. Room was clean and tidy, bed comfortable. Location is very central.

Cons:

The property is very tired and old, corridors were a bit worrying when I checked in, on my own, was a bit concerned as there are a lot of winding passages and random people sitting around. The passages seemed a bit dirty and run down. My air conditioner made a very loud noise every 30 mins or so.

It has been the worse hotel I have stayed at for years.

Over priced, poor service, poor house keeping and would never recommend the hotel.

Pros:

The location was good - it is a small city.

Cons:

|The Hotel is very tired and needs a major clean and upgrade - would not recommend it and I would never stay again. Its a very ordinary 3 star hotel!

Cons:

This is not a 4 star hotel. We had issues with our card entry to the room, the TV remote was missing & staff could not supply a working remote. The rooms are small and bathroom is tiny - barely enough room for an adult to get changed in. Would not recommend staying here, unsure how they charge what they do for this accommodation.

I liked it. It was nice. Probably wouldn’t stay there again though.
Pros:

The room was amazing. Loved the massage chair. Loved the restaurant being so close.

Cons:

The halls were a little scary, especially the bars in the windows. The parking was terrible. Not a lot of space to park and move.

Pros:

The Staff at reception desk on our first day of checking in was friendly and smiling. I think that is important my first impression was walking in and seeing someone smiling it made my day. The location was great right in the township every thing was close by easy excess, my husband and l enjoyed our time there. We loved it definitely we will go back and stay on my next vacation.

Cons:

Not much hook in the bathroom to hang the wet bath towel and hand towel..Only saw 1 big fishing hook behind the bathroom door. That is only thing we were disappoint about. But besides that issue everything was all good.

Not returning again
Pros:

Location is excellent

Cons:

Stayed 2 days and they only made the bed, didn't replace all the toiletries, face cloths or milk. Had to ring reception.
Rooms are not sound proof, pretty rowdy especially when the young adults are drinking.
This happened the previous time we stayed with the room.

It was great for me when I was catching up with friends as it is a very central hotel

City-Hotel schon in die Jahre gekommen
Pros:

Haben hier Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht und beim Einchecken hat man uns gesagt, das es kein Frühstück gibt und das Restaurant geschlossen ist. Auch sind die Zimmer und das ganze Hotel in die Jahre gekommen.

Cons:

Vor unserem Fenster hat die ganze Nacht ein Kompressor geblasen, so das wir das Fenster nicht öffnen konnten.

Location was excellent as we went to the Dave Dobbyn concert at the new BNZ theatre. Having available secure parking free of charge.

Cons:

Room smelt slightly damp and closed up. Needed a good airing (no opening windows) and room freshener.

Disappointed in the breakfast, food didnt look very fresh & appetising.
