The areas affected are the main entrance, lobby and reception, with work also being undertaken in some accommodations wings. This will also affect access to the rear car park of the building. Cleaning is not up to scratch and hotel is run down
Pros:

The location is great

Cons:

My toilet was very dirty with a lot of black grime under the rim, the shower door and curtains need a scrub/bleach. The pipes had a strong smell. The hotel itself is very rundown. Rundown is ok, but the standard of cleaning wasn’t up to scratch. The staff did give my room a clean and then moved me after the pipe smell was still lingering, but it had already left an impression.

Pros:

Staff were accommodating
Good location

Cons:

Room was very old and small for 2 people.
Bathroom was so small that you need to squeeze past the basin to get to the toilet.
No power outlets next to the bed for items such as cpap machines.
Didn't feel safe as lock on the door felt loose.
Step up into the shower could be a risk for some people.
Bathroom door didnt provide much privacy.

The breakfast was good.

Cons:

The free carparking is a gimmick, don't count on it. We also had a hard time finding an empty car parking spot in the area on a Thursday evening.
