Room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and staff very helpful and friendly.
Not a dislike but the double room would have been a bit snug if two people had shared it.
Just as expected from a Coaching Inn

The renovation has made a beautiful hotel. The room was beautiful and facilities seemed great.
Upon arriving at the hotel we waited 20 mins plus for anyone to be at reception desk, there was no button to press for service and nobody around who seemed to be associated with the hotel or willing to assist. This is not great as I'm disabled so wanted after a long drive to just get into our room, however once someone did attend to us, despite having paid in advance, we were told that there may not be a room for us?! I advised them that if we have been able to pay , then surely a room should be available! I had advised them that we would be checking in late, and was assured that wouldn't be a problem. So to be told that there may not be was a shock. There was no apologies, just an uninterested staff member who found a key from the back and walked off, when I asked where he was going he said would have to see if there is a room ready or not as not all of them get cleaned straight away and if not we would have to go elsewhere! At this point it was even later and the chances of finding another hotel were slim, plus after having paid for this one in advance, I had spent the budget on that room and was advised it could take three business days to refund. When he came back he said he had found us a room and handed me the key. No explanations on breakfast or how to access the hotel after hours etc.
Beautiful hotel and the staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect as it is in the main high street . Highly recommend.
Lovely welcoming staff and comfortable rooms
All good
STILL AWAITING VAT RECEIPTS
Beautiful decor, great location and the restaurant was excellent and good value.
We had a problem getting our drink( draught coke needed changing, poor choice of rum and whilst the coke was changed he forgot us!)
Great stay. Very nicely refurbished. Great breakfast
No parking at the hotel
I was surprised at how lovely this hotel was. The room was great, big bathroom which was very clean. The bed was comfy and the tea and coffee facilities were plentiful and free bottled water. There was a hand written welcome on the note pad which was a lovely gesture.
Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely return and recommend the hotel.
Beautiful place to stay
Everything was lovely no faults
Very Central, lovely cosy Pub
Lovely hotel, very clean and the staff were excellent.
Nothing.
The room was great, the bath was great, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were nice. The radio in the room was a very nice touch, added to the ambience.
Breakfast could've been earlier on weekends, and the time frame is very short, only from 8-10am. Also, a little more lighting in the room would've been nice, as it got pretty hard to see at night, even with the lamps on.
The room was great with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Decorated very tastefully and very clean.
The food was very nice and the staff were lovely.
The only minor issue was the service at dinner. We waited for over an hour for our food and half an hour for drinks. It wasn't very busy so we were a bit surprised. The staff were perfectly nice and accommodating so we assume it's all teething problems as the Hotel has not been open very long.
