Enjoyable stay in comfortable hotel in great location.
Pros:

Wonderful location for exploring Royan, close to port and seafront. Hotel located in building of special architectural significance. Warm, friendly and helpful reception. Comfortable room, good bathroom. Excellent breakfast, well supervised. The location in a listed building in the centre of the city presents parking problems at busy times, but resolved with the help of hotel reception. Best to check parking possibilities before arrival.

Cons:

Wifi rather weak (despite WiFi repeater close by). We resorted to 4/5G for communications. Otherwise, no criticism at all.

Hat unseren Erwartungen voll entsprochen, auch was die Architektur der Stadt anbelangt.
Pros:

Herrliche Lage unweit vom Meer, kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit gegenüber vom Hotel, schöne Aussicht aufs Meer vom Zimmer aus.

Cons:

Wir hätten es begrüßt, dass die Rezeption den ganzen Tag besetzt ist.

Pour une nuit, le séjour a été agréable.
Pros:

J'ai apprécié la vue et la terrasse de la chambre, son grand espace (j'ai bénéficié d'un duplex). L'emplacement de l'hôtel au centre ville est top. Quartier très animé, encore beaucoup de monde. Un parking devant l'hôtel est accessible sans frais mais il n'est pas réservé aux clients de l'hôtel ; on peut se garer si des places sont disponibles.

Cons:

Dans l'ascenseur (qui va jusqu'au 4éme) une seule personne peut monter à chaque voyage, et encore pas avec un bagage encombrant. Dans le duplex, des lampes étaient grillées dont une qui "clignotait" au-dessus du lit, désagréable. Pour moi pas digne d'un ****. Dernier point dans ce duplex l’espace très vaste peut accueillir facilement une famille de 4 personnes. Cependant la salle d’eau (douche + WC) est très petite en comparaison, par ailleurs la cuvette des WC est collée entre le mur et la douche, peu d’espace, et peu d’intimité. J'ai signalé à mon départ le problème des luminaires. La réponse qui m'a été donné : "On ne me l'a pas signalé"...

Les espaces communs beaucoup trop sombre et surtout l'ascenseur beaucoup trop petit on ne peut pas monter avec les valises et surtout pas la place pour un fauteuil roulant

Pros:

an der Promenade, sehr nette und hilfreiche Mitarbeiterin. der Fahrstuhl ist alt und lustig, superklein. es gab einen fahrradabstellraum.

Cons:

wir haben nicht gefrühstückt, da wir früher Weg mussten. es war ruhig.

Super avec cette belle vue
Pros:

L'accueil à la réception et aux petits déjeuners super du personnel disponible. Literie très confortable.

Cons:

Le moustique qui nous a attaqué au petit matin mais on l'a eu... un peu difficile pour ce garer.
