Feel good kind of place
Pros:

Service and breakfast were wonderful. Rooms were a nice size.
Felt very at home here. This is my favorite place in the area. I would stay here again.

Cons:

Just the prices are so expensive for meals. Wasn't expecting Belize to be so expensive and can't really figure out why it is. You pay the same prices as you would in a lot of places in the US, but many times it not quite up to par.

Pros:

it was very comfortable and the staff was amazing. We especially enjoyed The dining room staff especially Tisha with her welcoming smile and positive attitude

There is absolutely no information about what to do in the area or recommendations to guests at the front desk. lWe were interested in a snorkel trip and I would have appreciated a recommendation for a company. Not all tour operators are equal. but were told to ck the internet.

Een comfortabel en ruim verblijf op een fijne locatie
Pros:

De kamer was heerlijk ruim en comfortabel, met een fijne zithoek in de woonkamer en daarnaast een eigen terras waar je prettig buiten kon zitten. De airconditioning werkte goed en het bed was groot en comfortabel. Extra fijn vonden wij de heerlijke, dikke dekens, in plaats van alleen een dun lakentje zoals je bij sommige hotels krijgt.

Zowel de kamer als de badkamer waren schoon en goed onderhouden. Dagelijks konden we gebruikmaken van schone handdoeken, wat bijdroeg aan een prettig en verzorgd verblijf.

Het personeel bij de receptie was uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze reageerden snel op berichten, dachten goed mee en konden diverse activiteiten voor ons regelen, wat het verblijf extra ontspannen maakte.

Een groot pluspunt is de ligging van het hotel die beschikt over zowel een zwembad als directe toegang tot het strand. Het zwembad, ligt daarnaast als een van de weinige aan de zonsondergangkant. Hierdoor kun je hier tot het einde van de dag van de zon genieten, wat bij bijna geen één hotels het geval is. Daarnaast beschikt het hotel over een eigen pier en zijn er kano’s en paddleboards beschikbaar. Het strand is lang en ideaal voor mooie wandelingen; je kunt zelfs helemaal doorlopen tot aan het centrum.

Cons:

De ligbedden bij het zwembad en op het strand zijn verstelbaar en functioneel; hoewel ze hier en daar wat slijtage vertonen, doen ze nog prima hun werk. Het strand kan soms wat vies worden, maar hier kan het hotel weinig aan doen.

Het ontbijt was eenvoudig en kleinschalig opgezet. Dagelijks werd er onder andere scrambled eggs, brood en vers fruit geserveerd. Voor ons had de hoeveelheid en variatie iets ruimer gemogen, maar de basis was aanwezig en je kon indien je meer wilde, hierom vragen, maar dit vonden wij zelf lastig om te doen.

Wij verbleven hier tijdens de kerstperiode. Hoewel er geen specifieke kerstactiviteiten of extreme aankleding waren, was de omgeving rustig en ontspannen, wat ook zijn charme had voor wie op zoek is naar eenvoud en rust en je kan bij restaurantjes voor lunch elders terecht voor meer een "kerst experience".

Wat we positief vinden, is hoe professioneel onze opmerkingen achteraf zijn opgepakt. De communicatie met de eigenaar was prettig en oplossingsgericht, en dat heeft voor ons een groot verschil gemaakt in de totale indruk van het hotel.

Samenvattend: dit hotel heeft een fijne ligging en duidelijke potentie. Met enkele verbeteringen, met name op het gebied van ontbijt en beleving, kan het verblijf voor toekomstige gasten nog aangenamer worden.

A moment in paradise with full service hospitality.
Pros:

It was truly a delight. Beachfront, soundproof rooms, if you can believe that! Almost total privacy was DELIGHTFUL! The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Food is pretty good, breakfast was top notch!
The town is Hopkins is precious and God willing, I will return soon and stay longer.
