It was clean and the staff was friendly

Cons:

We was charged for breakfast included. But breakfast was not available. The air conditioning made a loud noise all night until we propped the stool against it .

Paid $270, Never Accessed the Room, and Got the Police Called on Me After a Funeral
Pros:

My partner and I traveled to Shreveport for his uncle’s funeral. All we needed was a place to rest. I booked Hilton, thinking a name brand hotel would at least do us right. I was wrong.
Front desk staff was visibly untrained and couldn’t complete check-in without manager help. Our room key failed twice — we never entered the room we paid for. When we returned to the desk, no apology, no solution, just “just try it again.”
When I asked the manager for a printed receipt confirming his verbal refund promise, he refused and called the police instead. The fact that he offered a refund at all shows the hotel knew the service had failed — yet they reversed course the moment I asked for it in writing.
We were removed from the property — grieving, exhausted, and out $270 — without ever accessing our room. Legal action is pending.

KATE SEES SAFETY ISSUES WHEN BLACK PEOPLE AROUND
Pros:

My stay was great until check out. Had just spoke with the housekeeper and guy that pulls the laundry who would be cleaning the room we stayed in, I mentioned to them I’ll be right back we still had a few things left in the room, they both agreed and knew exactly who I was. Kate was walking by and overheard me asking can they let me back in the room I just stepped out of to grab the last bit of things. Kate stops and says they can’t because it’s a safety issue and I’m guessing because I’m black I was the issue, Kate then said I would have to go back to the 1st floor from the 4th floor to front desk for a key to be let in to grab one basket that they was aware of I was coming right back to get.. Kate made it her business to then state I cannot enter the room again for safety issues when I had literally just walked out the room.

Pros:

Overall clean, comfortable and felt like a safe environment I came in from a different state and it was comfortable

Cons:

When we checked in the first room was clean but pizza boxes was on the cabinets as if someone had just cleaned the room but ate and then left all their food and snack behind so we where moved to a different room the next day we left and tried to get back into the new room and key didn’t work so we had to go the service desk but overall I was very satisfied

Pros:

We loved how clean the hotel was and how friendly the employees were! To our surprise in our room, there was really good shampoo, conditioner, and body wash!

Cons:

Kind of confusing to find since it’s connected to another property but overall this didn’t affect how we view the hotel and we will be back!
