Hotel Costa Verde

Our view of the Pacific ocean from our room was exceptional and our room and it's views were amazing.

This is a nice hotel, great views, although it is not for everyone. It is on hills and stairs so not for someone who finds walking challenging. There is plenty of wildlife around, toucans, macaws, monkeys agouti and iguanas. The hotel does offer a shuttle to restaurants but you need to get to reception first. These restaurants have a great selection. Pool areas are nice especially the adult only one. Staff helpful and friendly. Would I stay or recommend it yes but would be choosy who too due to location

My husband and I stayed here for our winter getaway and it did not disappoint. The grounds were well kept and you are surrounded by lush jungle. There are so many species that it's difficult to compile a list. If you want to see wildlife, this is the place to be. From scarlet macaws, to howler monkey and so much more. We were fortunate enough to see a Puma wandering around during our stay. The villa we had was wonderful with a balcony overlooking the ocean. There was a hotplate (two burners) fridge and microwave for those who want to cook. For those who don't want to cook, there are five restaurants on the grounds and three pools all within walking distance. It is situated right next door to Manuel Antonio National Park (also a wonderful place to experience.) It is hilly, so it may present a challenge for those with limited mobility. Wear decent shoes! It was everything we hoped for and so much more!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's a big property set on a hill so there is some walking. We did utilize the pools, lots of wildlife (monkeys, macaws, etc) and multiple eating locations within walking distance (albeit, expensive).

Will stay here again if/when we return

We were blown away by the beauty of this property. We were in a very lovely large studio with windows on two sides. One side, looking into the jungle and the other overlooking the ocean.A large deck with rocking chairs. Great sunset to use. Honestly it was hard to even to leave the hotel to go explore. The breakfast place was wonderful with also stunning views of the ocean, and great entertainment from the monkeys, if you got there early enough inthe morning. We saw loads of monkeys all over this property, including someone on our deck. And the restaurants on site were also wonderful. I think this was our favorite Stoppe in all of Costa Rica because of the richness of the wildlife both on the property and at the nearby national park. If I were to come back, I would come here and spend more time.
Note that there are steep walks throughout the hotel property, but that you can WhatsApp the front desk anytime and within about five minutes somebody will come and pick you up and drop you off anywhereon the property that you would like to go.

Very elegant and spacious resort, near the Manuel Antonio national park and the Pacific Beach. Beautiful restaurants and helpful staff. We had monkeys visit our balcony. Excellent air conditioning.

Even though we were assigned a probably the worst room (view) in the whole hotel (B5) we still loved our stay.
The view from the adult only pool is simply breathtaking. Grounds are lovely, with beautiful greenery and animals such as monkeys and iguanas. The room itself was big and comfortable. Note that hotel is on a steep hill so if you are unfit or have mobility issues- you will struggle. However, the hotel provides a courtesy car to take guests around the very large site. It is a unique hotel, with old planes incorporated into its landscape. Highly recommended.
A couple of points - sun loungers at the adult pool could do with an update, the beautiful Anaconda lunch / breakfast bar perhaps could have been open for sunset evening drinks. On a side - there is no nightlife so if you are a party goes - not a place for you. We had lovely meals at the hotel's restaurants but by 10 p.m. everything shuts down. This was not a problem for us. We cannot emphasise the hotel's stunning location and how it is beautifully built into the forest.

Hôtel magnifique à proximité du parc national Manuel Antonio.Nous y avons vu plus d´animaux que partout ailleurs: un paresseux près de la réception, des agoutis sur le parking, des saimiris au bar de la piscine, des capucins au petit déjeuner....le panorama depuis la chambre est incroyable et celle-ci est immense.Magnifiques couchers de soleil. Pour se déplacer vers les restaurants de l´hôtel, un service de navette vous emmène à la demande et est très réactif.

I had a view of the ocean.

Great set up with very good facilities. Our room was spacious with an amazing view over the ocean. The kitchen area was very good, well equipped and very clean. Likewise, the bathroom was also spacious and clean. Location is excellent if you enjoy the close vegetation, howling monkeys and birds all around. Lovely swimming pools too. Our balcony offered a wonderful view, the only thing that let it down was the significant traffic noise.

Das Hotel hat uns auf unserer Rundreise sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage zum Nationalpark ist super. Ebenso der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer. Wir konnten schon vom Zimmer aus Affen, Agutis und viele Vögel bestaunen. Die Restaurants hatten faire Preise und die Speisekarte war sehr vielfältig. Unser Zimmer lag nah zur Straße, das hat uns aber nicht gestört.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Costa Verde.. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.. Tolle Zimmer mit direktem Blick auf das Meer. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist sehr interessant mit den Flugzeugteilen.. Wir hatten nur Frühstück das war sehr gut.. Kurzer Weg zum Strand war auch gut zu erreichen.. Wir würden wieder buchen.. Danke
